The resort is wonderfully set up in terms of facilities, activities and location. We were located on a beachfront villa and thoroughly enjoyed the location and set-up. The staff were all excellent throughout our stay.

My room was dreamy, right on the beach and you can see the sea from bed. Great selection for breakfast, with the choice of two courses. The staff are all so friendly too. Beach is stunning. Lots of activities on offer. Loved cycling around the island.

Breakfast was basic. They were ok about changing it up a little. For the price of accommodation I would think a little more generous with coffee choice and extra fruit would be appreciated.

United StatesThe huts are laughably small and the grounds are very kid friendly and noisy, which might be great for families. There is nowhere to put your things inside the hut if you have anything larger than a day bag, and the huts are not in the best shape (AC can’t keep up, a little musty, rusty, and dark). For the price we could have gotten something much nicer, so be absolutely sure that you want to stay there, as there are many places for half or even a quarter of the price that would have more comfortable sleeping arrangements. You pay for the location and included activities but not for the accommodation. Some ways the hotel could make up for this would be to include cappuccinos and lattes in the included breakfast, add conditioner to bathrooms, update the lighting and AC units in the huts, have some welcome bonus like a free snorkel trip or massage, and add shelving. We kind of wished we had stayed in Jungubatu, which seemed more walkable.
We came for two nights of our honeymoon. We were in a hut that could see the water (not ocean front) which was a beautiful view. The huts and grounds are well taken care of and there are many helpful happy staff. They helped us book activities and there is no shortage of things to do on site. We had a great private snorkel and a day trip to Penida. The bed was clean and comfortable and the location is great on Mushroom Bay. I appreciated the availability of gluten free bread and having breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a highlight.

The beach front bungalows have a great view. After booking one we were disappointed to find the initial Villa we were allocated didn’t have a sea view- after raising this with staff we were moved to one which more closely matched our booking. The food in both restaurants was delicious and very good value. The staff are also lovely and go above and beyond to help you.

United KingdomWe paid for the beach bungalow after seeing the photos online and reading the great reviews. We had high expectations for the property based on what we had read and the amount we had paid. Sadly, the accommodation didnt live up to expectations when we arrived to a ridiculously small room overlooking the restaurant. The curtains had to remain closed for the duration of the stay to avoid people looking in while enjoying their meal/drinks, which defeated the object of a beach bunaglow. This made the room feel even smaller (which was near impossible!). As the room was right next to the restaurant, we were woken at 6am each morning to the sound of pots and pans and the kitchen extractor, which persisted throughout the day. The hotel was full, so we were not able to change to one of the other beach bungalows. Luckily, we were only staying here for 2 nights. The price we paid for this stay certainly didn't reflect the quality. We visited 4 other areas while travelling around Bali over the course of the 3 week holiday. This was by far our least favourite and somehow, the most expensive despite selecting star hotels/top rated villas elsewhere.
The hotel is in a great location on a lovely sandy beach. The restaurant was always busy with a good atmpsphere. The activities included with your hotel stay (such as, use of kayaks/paddle boards and visit to the pontoon with free banana boat rides) were great.

SingaporeThe rooms are incredibly small, and are huts, which would be completely fine if they were not so expensive. You can hear everything from next door neighbours as the huts are open on the outside. In addition, the beach is full of boats, definitely not good to swim (contrary to what the photos of the property show).

AustriaThe rooms are much, much too small. There is not even place for your luggage, the room is filled with the bed. Atound the bed there is about 40cm space, thats it. Beside that we were in room #1 which is directly beside the Restaurant and has zero privacy, everyone can look into the room.

United StatesI thought we would be on the beach, which is why went for the 2 million +++ a night rate..., but the only bungalow available was next to a cafe screeching music . Also we could hear this from our room in the garden/ pool area until 1030 pm. I paid extra to stay at this property to be at the beach. But it just didn't work out that way. I would have rather paid down the road a few extra meters to look at a garden and walk down to the beach. It was not really what I was expecting for the rate we paid and what we got. It is a shame the property next door has the loud music as I know nothing hai tide can do about that, but it certainly takes away from the idea of a quiet beachy holiday. I am just not sure the value for money was there.
