Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff! Easy to walk around the island. They also have a good restaurant with nice views. The only improvement point is that the bathroom floor gets all wet when you shower as the water strainer is on the other side of the bathroom, crossing from the shower to the toilet. Not a deal breaker, we would still stay here again.

Amazing and cosy bungalow near the beach, surrounded by plants and peacefulness, comfy bed and pillows, cold aircon, the cleanest place I have been so far, wonderful food and drinks in the restaurant with an amazing sunset view! The staff was great, always smiling and asking you if needed something! Loved the detail of the outdoor couch ❤️ They even did some birthday decoration for me!You don't have to miss it, if you are in Gili Air!Will be definetely back!❤️

We were a bit unlucky because the electricity Our hut was broken. So we had hardly any wifi, aircon and light. But we got two nights refunded, that was no problem and on the day of departure new electrics were installed immediately. Very very courteous staff

Rooms can be dark inside. But they are fairly comfortable for a couple of nights, beds are perhaps a bit firm for some.

Easy access to the beach. Lovely views. We stayed exactly 1 year previously and loved it, but this time we were in a different bungalow and the quality was very different. It wasn't as modern and nice in the bathroom areas as rooms 1 and 2. Still a lovely place to stay with friendly staff.

Lots of moskitoes, too expensive for what it is, and very low pressure in shower; also the light was not bright enough, even in the bathroom, so it is hard to see ourselves properly in the mirroir to get ready

The air conditioning is working but not enough powerful to have fresh air during the day.

Hakuna Matata Resort is in front of the beach with a delicious breakfast and really good Japanese food. The room is clean and cleaned every day. The pool is a must when traveling in Gili Air. The staff were very nice with us and they gave us tips about what to do on the island. They arranged the booking of a boat for ten people to go to Gili Meno.

Rooms are huts which are very common on the island. A bit dark inside as no windows. But most accommodation on Gili Air is this style.

Location on sunset side of Gili Air, easy walking distance to restaurants and activities. Staff provided a map on arrival which they marked with the best places to eat, drink etc. This was a great help. Big comfortable bed too.

pool is too small and not so encouraging for guests to use. Our room is very close with the bar so it is a bit noisy at night and water pressure in the shower is a bit too low. Breakfast menu can be improved.

A little more variety on the menu. Its prodominantly fresh sushi & shashimi.... The wagu burger is fab but its expensive. $30 aud.

Great little spot right on the beach. Just be aware that the religious (muslim I think) start praying early in the mornings 5am so fortunately for us we had a room near the front of the resort so we could hardly hear it. Towards the rear you would probably hear the praying..... The staff are great nothing too much trouble.... Fantastic sushi :)

The bathroom is open air, so between ~10am and 1pm you're sitting directly in the hot sun when on the toilet. Water pressure in the shower is very low. Light switches are far away from entrance and bed.

we were delayed and arrived a day late, I asked the staff if it was possible to change the dates, they told me no. As a result, the dates in the booking were changed, but we were not notified, so we left earlier, since the boat tickets could not be changed. Wi-Fi in bungalow B2 did not work.

Excellent bungalow hotel, very clean, towels and linen were changed frequently. Since the hotel is located near the ocean, there was a lot of sand, it was swept away every day, so the room was very clean throughout the entire stay. Great polite staff!
