Sink drains onto bathroom floor which was a bit weird. Not really the hotel’s fault, but it gets very loud between 2-3am when everyone gets their jeeps to Bromo. Some of the guests are not considerate and this morning there were boys literally shouting outside at that hour. I don’t know if they were guests or associated with the hotel but it was incredibly rude, so just be aware that you will be woken up during that 2-3am hour because people seem to forget it’s 2am as soon as they close their own door and go outside. And when you wake up for your own jeep please be considerate of others sleeping… I’d recommend that the hotel emphasize more to people that they should try to be quiet at that hour - it shouldn’t need to be said but evidently it does…

It’s very simple but gets the job done. Staff is helpful and it’s well-positioned for Mount Bromo. The staff recommended that I go to the sunrise via motorbike and I think that was a great suggestion - it was cheaper than a jeep by half and really fun, plus you can weave around the jeep traffic so the driving is quicker. Balcony is nice. And I liked how there was a restaurant on site. I stayed for 2 nights and was satisfied overall.

Not the hotel’s fault, but the mosque nearby is really really loud night and day, and it did affect our sleep even with earplugs.

The rooms were very nice with a good balcony with a hill view. Good value for money, with very friendly staff. They helped organise transport for us to get to Bromo in the middle of the night.

It has a little scope to buy lunch and dinner but its time is so short. Need to open more time for guests.

I like the terrace and facilities, really it was superb. The stuff was so cooperative and they are ready to support guest at any time and any way. This is really an wonderful place to stay with a affordable price. Best of luck for this hostel.

While my stay has been largely enjoyable, especially with the stunning view from the balcony, there are a couple of areas where improvements could enhance the overall experience. First, I noticed that the cleanliness of the bedsheets could be improved. As someone sensitive to dust, I experienced mild flu-like symptoms during the night, which I suspect may be due to dust or allergens on the bedding. Regular and more thorough cleaning or dusting could help ensure a more comfortable rest. Additionally, the size of the towels provided was a bit smaller than expected, making them less practical for comfortable use. A larger towel size would be more convenient. Another issue I encountered was with the water heater, where I had to wait for about a minute for the hot water to start, and then it would stop, requiring me to repeat the process several times during each shower. Having a more consistent and reliable water heater would greatly improve the showering experience. These small adjustments could make a big difference in ensuring future guests have an even more pleasant and comfortable stay. Despite these minor issues, the overall atmosphere and location have been wonderful!

It sounds like the view from the balcony is truly breathtaking! There’s something magical about being able to step outside and take in the scenery, whether it’s a panoramic landscape of mountains or hills. The fresh air combined with the sights from that vantage point offers a sense of peace and relaxation—truly the perfect spot! Another key aspect that enhanced my stay was the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the bathroom. The level of hygiene was impeccable, with everything spotless and well-maintained. It’s always a relief to find such attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness, as it adds to the comfort and overall experience. For me, a clean and well-kept bathroom is essential, and this one exceeded expectations, making my stay all the more enjoyable.

Room is quite sad... The bathroom is .. well.. it's really basic... The the sink in the bedroom drains onto the bathroom floor (as a design not a failure). It's not terrible as in "mold" or "not healthy", just.. a bit sad... Ok for one night but really need a bit of love.

Some rack or mini wardrobe would still fit in the room based on its size, but there wasn't any, so we struggled where to put our things.

The homestay is close if you want to visit Mt Bromo and i would also recommend to book your tour with them - our local guide was very attentive and careful. We booked the family room, it was equipped with bed and a small table. The bathroom is as on the pictures. The hotel has a restaurant, too, we ate there as there are not many things to do in the village, anyway.

Old spring mattress was extremely uncomfortable - springs dug into our shoulders and backs and the slightest movements made the bed screech. While everything else was fine, since most people get up at 3am for the bromo sunrise, a good nights sleep is super important and the bed strongly impacted that for us. Also, every dish we had at the on site restaurant was overly sweet (spaghetti, mixed vegetables, noodles).

Clean and cozy room, friendly staff helped arrange our transport to and from Probolinggo (400k each way) and our jeep tour (500k). Everything was prompt and smooth.

Only lukewarm water in the shower (temperatures can be very low outside, you are in the mountains, so a hot shower is good to have). You can boil water in the water kettle and mix it in the bucket and then shower yourself with the jug. They do not provide sheets, you sleep directly with the blankets. It would be great to have some boards to put the luggage, perhaps collapsable on the wall? Lots of noise from motorbikes just outside the homestay at 3 in the morning when people go on the night treks.

Friendly staff, Angri gave good explanations on how to get to Bromo, which options with motorbikes/jeep, cost. Nice surroundings with houses, gardens, cafe 3min, good restaurant 3min down the road. The homestay itself has a small resto, even if some things are not freshly made, but it is very useful when arriving late or for breakfast. we liked the banana pancakes. Beds were comfortable, one could relax in the sun or shade in front of the house.

Temperature could drop pretty low at night while only one blanket provided.......the beddings were highly possibly used by previous guest and just made to seem decent enough for next run...in a word it's good consider the fair price

A short stay for us, but perfect for our visit at Bromo! The homestay arranged transportation for us from/to Probolinggo station and motorbikes in the early morning to reach the foot of King Kong Hill. We then came back for a nice shower before check out and enjoyed their food too!
