Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room was small, I felt the photos were not as described.made the room appear larger. The hot water lasted 10 seconds then had to turn off and on again, repeatedly to get a shower.. it was salt water which was ok. We only got towels on arrival day, not the next day. THERE WAS NO FRIDGE My fault for not researching enough. Mould on the pillows under the pillow case, need protectors.
Agus was amazing. Very helpful. The pool was salt water and also amazing. Gardens were lovely Only 2 minutes to the beach. Very quite only 5 huts here.

United KingdomNothing not to like.
The staff are absolutely amazing, organised a taxi to the ferry for us and even organised a private snorkelling trip. On other occasions they recommend amazing Indonesian food, which was the best food I’ve had after a month here! Would definitely recommend for everyone.

NetherlandsAgus has been a good host. The huts and pool are very nice. Agus rented out scooters to explore the islands and arranged transport to and from the accommodation. Also did the snorkeling tour as arranged by Agus.

United KingdomBeautiful beach huts just minutes from Mushroom Bay. The pool area is clean and tranquil, rooms comfy and air conditioned, plus we had a fantastic host in Agus. We were able to rent scooters, organise a great snorkelling trip and enjoy the wonderful breakfasts at the HoneyBee Huts. A great stay.

PolandThe location- it is not far from the beach but honestly the road next to the hotel is so bumpy and no light at night so you need to use your own light or something as otherwise it is easy to stumble. Also to go faster anywhere usually the easiest way is to use the short cut by the beach which was not the most convenient route. Weak WiFi and a bit of the humid smell inside the hut
Swimming pool, decoration of the room with flowers, good AC

United KingdomAn oasis just a few metres away from the beach. Sandwiched between the forest and a banana plantation this was a fantastic place to relax. Agus and his team were very helpful and good communication.

UkraineBumpy dusty road, shabby bathroom, dust on top of mosquito net.
Very friendly staff, very nice smooth check-in, easy to find, close to the mushroom bay and speedboats. Small but nice territory. Pool with sunbeds for anyone who needs it.

AustraliaIt would have been handy to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, but the fact it didn’t have one wouldn’t stop me from coming back again. We loved our few nights at $ Honeybee Huts.
The host, Agus, was lovely and helpful and the property was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and well presented. The grounds were quaint but lovely, and the pool was great for an afternoon dip after a day of adventuring around Lembongan and Ceningan.

New ZealandThe road to get there was a bit crazy and we went the wrong way so that didn't help. Definitely advise getting a taxi unless you have a backpack and then it's an easy walk.
Breakfast was simple but tasty and nicely presented. Loved how close it was to the beach, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Pool was refreshing and clean. Had a lovely stay.

New ZealandCan't think of anything.
I loved my time at HoneyBee, it felt like a treat to myself. Though it would probably suit couples perfectly, it's very romantic. I did not rent a scooter but could easily walk to Mushroom Bay, Tamarind Bay and Devil's tears and when I needed to go to the main beach on the north, a staff gave me a lift for a fee and were always happy to help. They also helped me get transport from Bali to there and back. The pool was very clean, the room was beautiful, everything was comfortable and lovely.

New ZealandHoneybee Huts feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, but just a two minute stroll down the road is Mushroom Beach, with restaurants and jukungs to take you out to the surf breaks. Our group had four huts, and seemingly had the place to ourselves. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and kindly let us extend our stay. We stayed in various places as we travelled around Bali; Honeybee Huts was by far the cheapest but is the one I miss the most now that we're home. Lying in the pool there was utter bliss. Thanks very much to Gede for keeping our rooms so clean too! It was great to meet you.

NetherlandsNot a lot of space to put luggage.
We loved our stay in the little hut. Bed is great, and the mosquito net is a very good addition. Nice to sit on the porch and hang by the pool. Two steps away from Mushroom Beach and the village. Half an hour walk via the seaside path to Jungut Batu Beach.

SwedenOur room had an occasional odd smell, and some areas could use a few construction improvements. The road leading to the area is quite rocky, so be prepared to either carry your bags or arrange for a pick-up truck right in front. However, this is common across most parts of the island.
Charming stay just a few minutes' walk from the beach, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. From the nearest beach, Mushroom Bay, you can easily catch a boat to and from the main island. The staff were fantastic and even managed to fulfill my last-minute request for flower petals for my partner. They also helped us rent a scooter, making it easier to explore the area. The included breakfast was basic but nice, especially since we had the option to enjoy it on the balcony of our hut.

CanadaThe property needs a some maintenance in the bathrooms and the outdoors. Some lights on the road would be helpful (a backroad to Mushroom beach).
A cute and cozy property. Very close to Mushroom beach. The owner is very helpful, we needed to change our booking and he helped us very swiftly. Lovely outdoor saltwater pool great for swimming, cool little huts. You are in the middle of nature. Breakfast is simple but very good. Very good value for money.

SingaporeThere is only a bumpy road to access the hotel. But it's close to the beach and nice restaurants and cafes.
The hut was clean and well-equipped, with a nice pool view. You can rent a bike and Agus the owner is lovely. I would recommend the hotel for a budget-friendly stay in Lembongan.
