Location is good…..and the choice is there to either sit on the beach and swim in the sea or sit by the pool. I joined the regency club and found that was a wonderful decision. Drinks and canapés at 5pm…lovely. Also I’m a coeliac and needed gluten free and the chefs always organised gluten free for me.

The water pressure in the showers was terrible, pillows were pretty hard, the cocktails weren't great, but that's about it!

The breakfast was fantastic, the resort is beautiful, the pools were lovely and amazing for kids/babies, right on the beach just meters from bars and restaurants, highly recommend, we'll be back.

This is my third stay at this hotel. I stop off for a few days to break my journey to Australia. The staff are extremely welcoming and, as a solo traveller, I don't feel at all lonely here. I love the day bed on the balcony overlooking a jungle of tropical plants, the array and quality of food at the breakfast buffet is marvellous, the gardens are beautiful and well kept. I had a solo dinner one very rainy evening and was served and pampered by LYSTA all evening. Excellent food, expertly cooked.

Some of the rooms are a long walk from the pools and restaurant, included ours room 3120. Then again we are older age group so wouldn’t worry younger fitter people.

Beautiful resort. Lots of pools and plenty of sun beds. Loved the hot spa pool and going in and out of other pools. Room on ground floor larger with small daybed area and patio. We had Room 3120 very close to beach but long walk from restaurant. Breakfast amazing and wide selection, western, Indonesian, Japanese, they had it all. We didn’t want to leave the resort. Great to hire bicycle and bike along beachfront boardwalk and look at all of the shops and cafes. Bamboo Restaurant on beach nice food and cheap for change from hotel. The Nest is lovely and good price high quality for facials and manicures, etc. Outstanding resort. Highly recommend.

This hotel decor is a mix of modern and traditional Balinese with beautiful timber reception area. However, the pavers throughout the corridors appear to be original with chips and paint splatters, and the wall paintwork are worn looking and bring down the standard you would expect from a 5 star resort.

Located on beachfront with a lovely footpath for strolling or riding a bike which connects the hotel to other cafes and restaurants. Bikes are free to use. Breakfast selection was more than sufficient and dinner at the Pizzaria was great. Prices reasonable for a 5 star resort. The staff were all delightful and friendly from bellboy, security guards to front of house, housekeeping and gardeners. They all took the time to smile and greet you when walking past. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful established gardens and close to shops, restaurants and cafes.

Absolutely stunning. Everything was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond and always had a smile and said hello. The breakfasts will be forever remembered forever, the presentation and choice were amazing. The swimming pools were also a high point of the trip.

The worse pillows I have ever encountered in a 5 star hotel. Flat and lifeless is the best way to describe them. Breakfast buffet is tired, the food looked unappealing… but on the upside it saved my waist by not eating much of it.

Location was amazing. Hyatt is a great brand.

Some furnitures and room doors look worn out. However this has no effect whatsoever on our stay as we spent very little time in the room.

The staff is amazing, particularly in the Regency Club Lounge and in the Spa area. The hotel has various pools. There is a quiet pool where only adults are allowed. The Club access well worth it, as good to have access to fresh juices/coffee/tea and some small snacks throughout the day. Also the selection of alcoholic beverages between 5-7 pm is good and the food could be sufficient for light eaters. The food is exceptionally good in all restaurants. While there is seaweed on the beach you can still enjoy the sea, as in some places the seaweed is cleared.
