Beautiful property with view of the padi fields. It's green all around with the expansive skies. Adorable doggos that come to greet every morning. Loved the stay.

Just for the owner to check. Lights in the kitchen didn't work. Hot water stopped on the last day. Frogs unable to exit pool. Bed sinks a bit in the middle. Easy to solve problems and didn't really affect our overall enjoyment.

Everything was awesome. Wanted to move in permanently. Magical place.

a gracious host who is very accommodating he let our friend charge their EV car at the main house and was very helpful breakfast is provided daily and each day the menu is slightly different. fresh fruits are very tasty. thank you for a wonderful stay

It was an absolutely beautiful stay, the owner had three cute dogs and a cat! The location, Villa and decor was delightful. The owner and staff were also lovely, very nice breakfasts and very helpful with directions and helping organising drivers etc. Stay here, you won't regret it. :)

It is not something that we did not like , but in the night there are gekos. But they are in all Bali , not just there. Even in restaurants or pubs.

Nick and his wife were very friendly and they made us fell like part of their family. They were very helpful and paid attention to our needs. Breakfast was very good and you can choose different options. The location can be good or bad , depending on what do you want. is a bit far from centre of ubud, like 30 mins walking, but for us was ok because you are in the middle of an rice field and your are away of cars and all the noises.

Couldn't fault it!

Everything! The villa exceeded expectations, it was so comfortable, literally like a home away from home. The area is quiet and it's like a dream just listening to nature at night. Nick was very friendly, very attentive and it was comforting knowing that he lived right there next to the villa! The breakfast every day were lovely and there was always a variety! I love that his dogs and the wee cat would come in every morning to say hello, missing our dog back home so it was nice seeing them! Would 100% come back! Amazing place!

We spent a total of eight nights in the villa. We were very satisfied. The villa looks like the pictures. It's clean. A lot has been made available. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and flexible. They paid attention to our needs, we were able to choose the breakfast times and we were offered several breakfast options. The breakfast was very tasty and nicely prepared. Attention was paid to privacy. If we go to Bali again for us, we would definitely book it again, because we felt very comfortable.

If there was a category for best host, you’d find Nick, the owner of Ikan Villa. Not only was his place gorgeous, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was very special. He was always on hand to give advice and recommendations as well as help with drivers and local info. He wanted to show us the best Ubud offered. We stayed over New Year and he went as far as to gift us a lovely bottle of Scottish whiskey. The villa is stunning with great air con and we loved the breakfasts too. Top marks!

The owners were so incredibly lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The villa was in a perfectly quiet location, easily in reach of the town centre by bike/car. The included breakfast was such a perfect way to start the day every morning, too. The room was spacious and comfortable, with an aircon that worked like a charm. No complaints at all.

Absolutely nothing!

It is a remarkable destination for a couple! Everything is just perfectly suited for a couple who wish to enjoy Ubud Bali and stay as your own second home or vacation home. The facilities is just sufficient for either a short stay or a long stay. Facilities that you have at your 5 star hotel that you will not use, you might well will use it at Ikan Villa Ubud! It has been figured for your needs during your visit at Ubud Bali. Location wise, it is not too central at the crowded places, means you will get to enjoy the quietness of Ubud. Just a 5-10 minutes drive/ride to the central restaurant at Ubud if you are hungry. Me and my wife stayed for 4D3N with 3 different sets of breakfast being served. Obviously Nick the owner well thought of all our arrangements as a visitor to Ubud. All in all, hats off, this is the best place me and my wife had stay throughout our holiday. We did not break our bank to enjoy this location at all.

You need to have transportation to get into town (we wanted to have peace and quiet, and transportation is easily arranged). The hot water did not work initially, but Nick had it fixed quickly.

Staying here is like staying at a wonderful guest house. You are the only guests. The owner, Nick, is extremely attentive, as is his housekeeper, Ti Tin. We arrived several hours before check-in time and had not had lunch. Nick made us a wonderful meal. You can't ask more from a facility: A clean, private swimming pool. A kitchen with modern amenities and very clean. A spacious bedroom, with a large comfortable king size bed. The bathroom had two sinks and is very roomy; the outdoor shower is private and clean. Nick provided excellent advice about places to go; he also arranged for a private driver, Nyoman, who is a wonderful person, and made our trips around the island enjoyable and memorable.

Bath takes ages to fill up and shower goes hot and cold. (That's being picky) we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 4 nights for my partners birthday the owner was fantastic hung up a happy birthday banner in the room with a birthday cake and flowers ready for when we arrived. The bed is comfortable and the pool was perfect. Breakfast every morning was yummy. I definitely recommend staying.

My only dislike would be privacy in the pool area. A simple blind over the large back window would suffice.
