The host is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I would give her 100 stars if I could. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, and she gave me helpful tips to help me navigate the city. There are several restaurants and convenience stores, etc. within walking distance. It was easy to access from the airport by taxi (Grab and Gojek are widely available) and is in close proximity to the train station.

I could hear sounds from the outside, but I’m a deep sleeper so I didn’t mind

The host was really nice and helpful. I felt welcomed, comfortable and was offered information about the nearby shops, restaurants, cafes, doctors, etc. which was really useful. I could choose from local or western breakfast. The local breakfast was delicious.

It’s in a side street which is great because you do not hear traffic or anything from the outside. Generally quiet and peaceful place in the middle of a big city. The staff is extremely helpful and nice but not intrusive. Perfect combination. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good! We extended our stay here! In general, great value for money! I would stay here again even though I often stay at 4-5star hotels.

This place feels like home. I've been travelling for a few months now and this place really does have the homey atmosphere I've been away from. Ruby, the girl who works there is an angel!! I've had several very difficult days because of my health while staying in this hotel and she's tried everything possible to help me! Thanks!

Nice place, clean, Ruby, a girl that works there is really nice, great neighborhood. There are a lot of street Food vendors in the evening if you just go around the block. Also, the layout of the place allows you to meet other travelers

Being a little bit far from the center makes you going by foot with the really hot weather or going by Grab/táxi, spending more money.

The Room is great, being the bed really confortable!! The location is halfway from the Old town and the bus station so it's ok, but the good side is exploring it's surroundings, exploring the small local villages and connecting with them. The have fresh/cold Water, tea and coffee for free what's always a good thing here. There weren't many other guests there, because it's a more hotel type vibe, só really good to rest and stay a night.

Toilet/bath is a bit small. I would recommend setting up a shower curtain to separate bath and toilet to avoid water getting everywhere. AC worked great but the remote didn't always work so I had to turn it on manually. Location is not bad but not good either, it is very central which means that most attractions will be a 30-40min drive away.

The girls working at the homestay are really nice and easy to talk to. The rooms and common areas are very clean. Bed is comfortable. TV works and is placed in a good direction compared to the bed. You have a workstation so you don't have to sit in your bed with your laptop. The house was quiet all days of my stay after 21:00. Breakfast was great and well prepared.

Location is a little far from the main sights and train stations in Surabaya but still within a 15 minute drive.

Very comfortable guesthouse, comfy beds, lots of space, drinking water, tea and coffee available, TV in room, hot shower, wardrobe with hangers.

Overall the room was clean, nice and satisfactory as we only had to stay for couple of hours (we had to leave at 11:30PM for Bromo tour). But for longer stay the room might seem little compact to some. There window opened in a shaft which blocked the view and made the room feel more compact. But overall everything else was fine. No Complaints
