IndonesiaI am a regular customer. Usually I choose this hotel as well for the quality of the dinner buffet and breakfast. Breakfast this morning was as always very good but for dinner they moved the buffet to the ballroom because of Ramadan fasting opening. It was terrible. It looked so cheap. Decoration was super ugly. Lights were depressive. Poor choice of food and very poor taste. And the place is too big so we walked kilometers to get our food. It felt like eating in a cheap’food court in an airport in Pakistan. And I need to say that my partner is local from Jakarta and she is muslim and felt the same way. And I want to add that I already had the dinner buffet in the regular restaurant during Ramadan 2 years ago and it was very good. This was miles away from’Kempinski standards. What a shame.

NetherlandsOnce it was noisy during one evening when I called the receptionist and the concierge about it, nobody responded.
Most days and nights it was quiet, large rooms, beautiful bathroom and shower with hard water stream. Service very friendly, clean room twice a day, lots of choice during breakfast from wester to local breakfast. There was a very friendly staff member who checked each day if I had a cappuccino. Japanese restaurant is excellent.

Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, perfectly clean. Breakfast is outstanding- compliments to the chef and his team! Very high standards! Location is also nice, as it’s linked to the shopping mall, as for places of interest in any case you will need a taxi, as it’s quite difficult to cross the streets in this city. If again in Jakarta - we would definitely get back to this hotel again.

SwitzerlandWould have loved a good (international) restaurant with table service. The mediocre, buffet only Singnature restaurant was a real disappointment and somehow doesn’t fit to the luxurious Kempinski concept.
Great location with true hospitality from check-in to check-out. The grand deluxe room was very specious and quiet with an incredible central view. Loved to end a hectic day by taking a bath in the free standing bathtub at the window front watching the busy traffic at Bundaran HI outside. The breakfast buffet was great & OKU served excellent Japanese food. Thanks to all the friendly staff to make my stay truly amazing.

At first, if you have the means, please upgrade your room with the view of Bulatan HI. It was exceptionally good. The room was spacious and super worth the money. Will stay here again if I come over to Jakarta again.
