It's amazing place to stay in Sidemen. Probably the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. It's private area with 2 villas with pool and lovely garden full of butterflies and birds. Owner is very kind, friendly, helpful,... we felt like part of his family. We wish we could spend more time here. Let's hope there no overturism in Sidemen.

A peaceful, beautiful and affordable place to stay a little out of the center of Sideman. Lovely views of the rice paddies and hills around, a beautiful garden and such a welcoming and wonderful family who will do whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are very nice, comfortable bed (less hard than others in Bali) and nice pool. Highly recommend!

Location was perfect! Walkable to several warung which served yummy food. Gusti & family (the host/ owner of the Villa) were also very welcoming! He took the effort to check in on us & send us to places when needed. He arranged for activities for us - fuss free!

Gusti and Ayu were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and ready to help in every way they could. The property is really lovely and the garden and pool just gorgeous. It is great that there are only 2 villas. It is quiet and peaceful and a more personal experience all around. Gusti was always offering to drive us out for anything at anytime. The perfect host! We walked to restaurants and warungs. There are several close by. The walking can be quite steep and hilly, but we are in our sixties and managed fine. Gusti discovered we loved snake fruit so they bought us a huge bag to take with us on our last day. Thank you so much Ayu and Gusti.

The location of the hotel is slightly out of the main part of town, it is walkable but better if you have own transport. We didn’t, but the owner drove us everywhere!

The rooms are spotless clean; the garden lush and beautiful; the pool clean and refreshing. What mostly stand out though is the hospitality of the owner/Host Gusti. He provides really good recommendations on restaurants and silver classes and offered to drive us to eateries as the weather was wet. We had lovely conversations and he really does provide 5-star services - not surprised as he used to work in established resorts down south for years before returning to his hometown to open his own hotel. We loved our stay.

Had a fantastic stay at Intan Sidemen Villa. It's a few minutes walk from the best rice field terrace walk in Sidemen, really incredible to walk through and explore. The Balinese owner Gusti and his wife are the most fantastic and helpful people, meeting them was one of the highlights of my trip. The room is very clean and well appointed, great lighting, balcony and incredible garden that Gusti has grown, looking out on a beautiful pool. Bed comfortable and Internet worked very well for me (when I measured it, it was 30Mbps. Can't wait to come back here, the best place to stay in Sidemen and I wish I had stayed longer.

I’ve stayed in many places around the world but I don’t think I have ever found a host as accommodating as Gusti and family. Arranged a special wedding anniversary dinner for us, arranged transport etc. Delicious breakfast. Villa very comfortable and off the beaten track enough to be quiet.

We stayed at Intan Villa in December, and it was an unforgettable experience, so much more than just a place to stay. The Place : The villa is a quiet, intimate property with two charming bungalows surrounded by a lush garden. The garden isn’t just decoration, it’s alive, vibrant, and lovingly cared for by Gusti, the host. There are mango, guava, and pineapple plants, along with others we couldn’t even name. Gusti is passionate about what he’s created here, and he’ll happily show you around if you’re curious. For us, it was fascinating to hear him talk about what he grows and how it’s all connected to the land. The pool is a great size, big enough for kids to play or for adults to swim and relax. The villas are set apart, so you’ll feel like you have your own little sanctuary. Sitting on the porch with a view of the garden and the pool became one of our favorite ways to start the day. The Area : The villa’s location is perfect. It’s on a quiet, accessible road, which is surprisingly rare in Sidemen. Some villas are hidden deep in the village, but here you can easily get a taxi or be dropped off without any hassle. That said, the road isn’t busy, it’s peaceful, so you still feel immersed in the calm of Sidemen. A short walk (about 5 minutes) takes you to an incredible viewpoint of Mount Kintamani. On clear days, the mountain looms large in the distance, often topped with its signature circular cloud formations. It’s breathtaking and worth the walk, especially in the early morning. For activities, there’s so much to explore nearby. About 500 meters away, there’s a silver-making class that’s unlike anything we’ve done before. You don’t just watch, you actually make your own piece of jewelry. It’s hands-on, fun, and makes for a meaningful keepsake. On the other side of the road, you’ll find the starting point for the Sidemen rice field trek. We spent hours walking through these untouched paddies, surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of flowing water.

It is an extremely comfortable place to stay. Gusti and Ayu are excellent hosts and no question is too much. The place is extremely clean, comfortable and well located with a perfect pool. We were allowed to use Gusti's scooter and he drove us even to a restaurent when it was raining. He organised our outings and a taxi to the airport. We had a great time and the stay and breakfast were both excellent.

Everything was perfect! The villa is new, clean and very comfortable. Gusti helps with arranging everything. He arranged a coocking class and a hiking tour with a guide through the rice fields for me. The family is so kind and really make you feel at home. Gusti showed me arround Sidemen on the scooter. Also the breakfast and the pool is amazing. I highly recommend staying here. It is perfect for enjoying nature and relaxing, it is a true paradise!

Friendly, welcoming, family hosts. Garden and pool beautiful and with only two bungalows a relaxed feeling place. Close to rice fields walk. Gusty made great recommendations for eating places, even drove us up to one and picked us up. Had fresh pineapple from Gusty's garden. Added treat talking with Gusty's family as we watched his sister working at her traditional weaving.

If you want a comfortable and beautiful place to stay in Sidemen, look no further. Sidemen is much more tranquil after our previous destinations like Canggu and Ubud and you will find it peaceful in the villa of Gusti. The rooms are clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Gusti might be the most friendly and welcoming host we’ve had on Bali. We used his scooter to get around in Sidemen and he brought our clothing to the laundry; the service was excellent. Furthermore, the breakfast we had the next morning was delicious. In conclusion: The warmest and best hosts you will find on Bali!

Everything was perfect !

This place is just the best accommodation we've done in Bali and maybe even the best of all our trips! The room (it's more like a small house with a large terrace) is big, clean, new and really beautiful. The pool is amazing and as there are only two rooms in this hotel, the pool is free almost all the time ☺️ But the most incredible thing is the kindness of Yusti and his wife, who are sincerely lovely people who will do anything to help you (organize transport, laundry, etc.) without ever trying to rip you off - on the contrary! Breakfast was really good, as was everything else on offer here! Gusti can also organize a tour with a guide for you to hike in the rice fields, and honestly the guide (Gus) was amazing too! In short, Sidemen is the best place in Bali and this hotel the best place in Sidemen ❤️ Gusti, thank you for everything, your kindness really touched our hearts!

It was the most amazing stay, nothing we didn’t like!

Intan Sidemen Villa is the most amazing stay you could have! Gusti Ayu and Intan are so lovely and kind! The stay itself is super clean and beautiful and they have a lovely garden and swimming pool! We think its the best stay we have had in Bali. We have been in Intan villa for 3 nights but wanted to stay forever :) If we are ever so lucky to come back to Sidemen, we will stay there again!
