Actually, what I liked the most is how respectful this Resort and staff is , for me it was 5 stars not 4 , i really recommend everyone to book with them You have all what you need in this hotel from Spa to restaurant to swimming pool and even Yoga sessions The area is quite and not far from Ubud city center with Scooter or Car

One thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of steps throughout the resort. There's probably 4-5 flights of stairs between the spa/yoga center and the lobby/restaurant. If you have a mobility issues this might be a problem but otherwise it's not a big deal.

My time at Jannata Resort was the highlight of my month long travels through SE Asia. The staff was all English speaking, incredibly knowledgable, helpful and welcoming. Upon our arrival (Jannata picked us up from the airport for an additional charge) we were told there was an issue with our reservation so we'd been upgraded free of charge to the private pool villa! The room was beautiful, it was very clean and everything was updated nicely. It's rare the real thing is as good as the photos. The resort is a bit out of the way from downtown Ubud but Jannata offers a free shuttle service multiple times a day and were flexible on if we wanted an earlier/later pick-up time. We mostly ate at the resort restaurant and liked everything we had, they offer Western and traditional Indonesian options for all 3 meals. I even did a floating breakfast for maybe $15, just be sure to book a day ahead! They also offer room service all day, but breakfast has to be ordered the night before. The spa is wonderful, we got a couples massage and then I got a body scrub complete with a flower bath (very affordable and can be booked same day or next day). I enjoyed my time at the spa so much I booked a facial for the next day that was also wonderful. We were there for the full moon, so the resort through a full moon dinner with a traditional Balinese dance performance! Overall, this is a wonderful resort for couples or anyone who is looking to relax poolside in the beautiful nature of Ubud.

I like everything about this place, the staff, the views, the location. Waking up in the morning with the amazing view of the valley and the sound of the birds, waterfall is just an amazing experience. This is the place I will visit again and will remember on my books. We had so much help during our stay. We stayed in different villas and they were all beautiful. We had a private pool villa and another one with the valley view.

It is a pretty long walk from the main reception to our room. We had to go up and down the steps whenever we wanted to go to the restaurant or go outside of the resort. The wifi was slow at times.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Jannata. We stayed in one of the rooms with a private pool and an amazing view of the jungle. Our room had a comfortable king sized bed, fresh linen, television with netflix and youtube, and a balcony leading to the private pool. Our bathroom was a decent size, complete with a hot and cold shower and bathtub. The staff were also very accommodating, kind and professional. They made us feel comfortable during our stay and always greeted their guests with a smile.

we liked everything. Another thing we liked was the floating breakfast delivery. The staff was warm and funny. she set up everything so beautifully and took great pictures. Every staff member we encountered took outstanding pictures for us. we will remember our experience fondly for many years to come thanks to the hard work and pleasant professionalism of the Jannata staff.

The staff was extraordinarily pleasant to be around. They were my favorite part of our big experiences there. The waiters at our romantic flower drenched dinner were attentive at just the right moments and still provided a great deal of privacy. The Spirit Massage was provided with a professionalism that was also comfortably casual. my wife and I were quite at ease for every step. The gentleman whom escorted us from the airport was kind and welcoming even as he drove through terrifying traffic.

The location is further out from Ubud center, which is a trade-off for the views. The hotel offers a free shuttle 2x a day, which is helpful! And they also can organise a taxi for you at cost of 100k IDR The bed was a bit too hard for our liking

The views, close to the river. The staff are soooo friendly. The breakfast menu is great! They have a spa and complimentary yoga lessons The restaurant is nice for your first or last night and they offer a discount. The pool views are beautiful The room is very spacious, it has a bath and a shower. Everyday they give you these delicious cookies!

nothing to criticise

Jannatta resort is imbues the essence of Ubud. it is architecturallly beautiful, each villa level seperated via the natural landscape allowing all guests to feel alone and at one with the canopy of the rainforest. the community of staff extend themselves in a lovely personal manner, making you feel as part of the place, a special and appreciated guest. as foodies we as well delighted in the delicate and interesting cuisine, a blend of Indonesian and western cuisine, which we celebrated whilst enjoying a romantic dinner perched below the pool at the edge of the rainforest. we left energised and relaxed. a quixotic combination. many thanks to Janatta resort and staff

Panoramic views of the valley/rainforest, waking up to the views on our large balcony, huge clean rooms, exceptional breakfast, very friendly staff. Perfect location away from the hustle & bustle of Ubud town, but easily accessible with a 10min drive (and plenty of hotel cars with a fixed IDR 100k rate). Highly reccomend Marjana Art Gallery down the road for artwork

Simply beautiful. Stunning view from the room, comfy bed, romantic atmosphere, friendly and helpful stuff. The view from the pool is gorgeous and we enjoyed so much the floating breakfast.
