Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australia1. The balcony doesn't give you good pravicy (not sure if the photo reflects that), your neighours will be able to see you from different angles 2. Anywhere other than your room does not have an AC. 3. We called a in-room dinner however there's no table to hold the plates... we end up with having them on the ground. BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH THE NEXT TWO POINTS: 4. The resort area is controlled by local taxi mafia, so there's a chance you can't get a taxi using Grab (like uber). What we've experienced was that the taxi mafia answered our Grab call, and use app msg to require us to walk 200 meters down the hill in hot weather. After we arrived, he asked us to pay him cash without Grab. After we refused, he started to fk with us by holding the Grab booking so we are not able to get another taxi, when we did the cancellation with a fee and made another request through Grab, he accepted the ride through grab again to force us taking his car, and laugh like maniac beside us. This repeated for like 15 mins...until I use another phone to call another Grab driver. This can be horrifying to female travellers... 5. REDICULIOUS drama during check in. we arrived at 12:30pm and the check-in time they advised was 2:00pm. However once we arrived, the receiption lady told me the room won't be ready until 5 or 6 pm, we can either sit in restaruant area or pool area, neither of them has AC. To be honest I sense a bit of discrimination there because we were the only guest being asked to do late check in as far as I observed (We are asian couple) I go mad in a polite way and argued a couple of times untill I got their manager, their manager asked me to UNDERSTAND THEM! REALLY????? I DID NOT PAY TO UNDERSTAND YOU, I PAID TO GET A ROOM AT THE AGREED TIME TO REST! After that, I asked for compensation, then they suddenly have the room available in 30min...
The room was facing to the mountains and it's lovely. The toilet of the room is spacious! The pool is beautiful and great for taking photos. Great hotel shuttle to the center of Ubud

GermanyWe thought we would have yoga class everyday, but unfortunately only 2 times a week. to book an own yoga session is quiet expensive. We thought it was an adults only hotel, but unfortunately there were often loudly playing children by the pool. Often the service did not keep to what we asked for or simply forgot to bring certain things to our room. Like food etc. Once we took a bath and the housekeeping would come in for no reason...
The spa was beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and therewith very comfortable. The view is stunning.

IrelandThe expensive price did not match the resort facilities etc. We stayed in much more reasonably priced accommodation which we felt was much more value for money. Breakfast food was fine but not great. The Spa was ver over priced. We were charged €18 for a towel upon checking out as they felt it was “broken”- we had hiked Mount Batur and there was volcano dust on the towel. Obviously this could be washed out so that was ridiculous. No plugs by the bed to charge your phone. Quite a small pool area also with a small number of sun loungers.
Really friendly staff and very helpful.

DenmarkWe chose the hotel because I really needed to relax, but that was impossible with the loud music being played in the restaurant and by the pool. Also construction work was done near the pool and even with headphones with noise cancellation it was terrible. Left the hotel two days before planned. The manager didn’t try to sell the nights to anyone else and there were no compensation. Bad luck.
The staff was really really nice. The view was very good from pool area. Breakfast was good.

Qatar-They mentioned that check in time is 14pm so we reached right before 14pm but they let us wait for more than 30mins for room to get ready. -We did tour that the hotel was offering and it was clearly mentioned that tour guide can speak English however he barely spoke English and we had a difficult time to communicate with him and he was not professional so it was not worth money we paid at all. -Besides cleaning room they enter the room to put evening cookies which we were not actually comfortable with. - We had an issue with safe so we ask the staff to come fix it however they didn’t come after more than 20 mins of waiting and one more time we called but they didn’t come - The room in general is old so needs renovation. Overall we are disappointed with this hotel. The price we paid was not cheap and our expectation was high. It’s not worth to pay this much money to this hotel.
The location was great . It takes 10-15 mins to Ubud center area.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast fruits were not ripe. It’s would have been better to serve seasonal fruits. We also suggest to have full length mirror in room 814 instead of the painting.
All well

United StatesToo pretentious, not good value for money. The restaurant is squeezed in with the lobby and waiting area and bar area and pool access. You feel that what you pay for is too much packaging and not enough content , although the location and staff are very nice. Many things look outdated, the finishing in the rooms, the Air conditioning, the stairs that you need to go up and down on anytime you want to reach your room feel like climbing a small hill. Very much and instagram place but too pretentious.
The setting and location is very nice. Also their massage service is done by professionals. But the breakfast and drinks are average to passable.

India1) Location is at height and bit secular place so you need to take scooty compulsory from hotel for travel. OR stick to the local bus pickup time from hotel. They charge scooty at bit high price as they know people will have to take. No other mode of transport so. 2) Property has lot of greenery so expect Lizards and many different Bugs and Mosquitos around and in room. (Hotel provide good quality mosquito repellent) 3) I took some veg food with me and i asked resturant to send some lemon and onion slices to my room. They asked me to come down and collect since it was free item. ( This was the most disappointing part of the hotel ). Anything you ask for free, you have to go to restaurant and take. 4) Masaage in the hotel is not upto the mark and charges are very high.
1) Rooms are good spacious and bathroom is also very neat and clean with bathtub. 2) Very beautiful jungle view from room and swimming pool is also really nice. 3) 2-3 Veg. Options otherwise its all non-veg but Food quality was really good and breakfast was really nice too.

IrelandThe staff were very clueless about a lot of things. They were not very accommodating in their restaurant for breakfast options and the food wasn’t great. They say coffee and tea is included but have to pay extra for a long black or anything that isn’t their house pot of coffee or tea

FinlandThe hotel did't meet expectations. We didn't get a response for the money. The hotel's services were ok, but there were no information about it. We had to ask for the menu twice on the second day. The reception number had to be guessed. The prices were shocking. In addition, we had to wait 1.5 hours after check-in before our room was ready. There would be better cleanliness for example there were sand in a bed and little trashs everywhere.
The hotel was peaceful and view was beautiful. Employees were very kind.
