I don’t wanna leave this place!

The party vibe was absolutely amazing! Every night was full of fun, music, and friendly people. The pool area is such a vibe, and the staff were super chill and helpful. Great place to socialize and make friends!

Hygiene was mainly the issue, I do understand that is a Hostel and is not going to be a 5 Star, but the room I got was number A and the mattress was disgusting. I got eaten alive by Bed Bugs, all over my body. Luckily I only stayed 2 nights I do not know what would’ve happened if I stay longer. Staff really need to look after this, either change/clean the mattress and do a Pest Control because it will continuously happen to anyone who sleeps there.

The Hostel staff was amazing, really friendly and caring. They really do care about organising things everyday such as Dinner, Games and Night outs.

"Hello, I wanted to write this review to warn others about this hostel. On our first day, we unknowingly brought a bottle of rum that wasn't allowed, and the owners told us in a very rude manner that it wasn't permitted. They made us throw away the glasses and kicked us out of the premises. As a result, on the second day, they didn't clean our room or make the bed, which was included in the price. Later, we asked the owner how much we had to pay in total, and she gave us the amount. We took out the exact amount of money (which included a $10 commission), and when we went to pay in the morning, they told us that we were missing money because the owner had added more to the total. We didn't have the extra money, and we had to catch the ferry. They insisted in a rude manner that we go withdraw more money, which we couldn't do. We offered to pay the remaining amount in dollars, but they refused and wouldn't let us leave. Finally, we respectfully left the dollars, which were more than we owed, and left. It's worth mentioning that they didn't clean our room one day, the room leaked a lot when it rained, there was no hot water, poor ventilation, humidity, and bad smell in the rooms. The chickens would wake us up at 7 am, and the place was full of dogs and cats. Additionally, the owners would drink beer and smoke all day, making the place very dirty and terrible. As a group, we had never had a problem like this before, and we've traveled a lot together. I hope no one has to go through this experience. Best regards."

A lot of messages sent to us encouraging us to participate in drinking games, charging plug was hanging off the wall and other plug was near the ceiling also couldn’t change the temperature of the shower.

The main thing we didn’t like was the mattresses in the rooms, they were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The showers were cold salt water showers but this was highlighted to us before our stay. You had to pay for toilet roll and water but only 10,000 (due to it being an eco hostel) so understandable.

The staff were so so lovely. Could not fault, really happy to help with any questions and facilitated us with laundry, bikes etc. Agnes was so much fun and really made our stay here 10X better. The bar staff were a good laugh and the hostel provided meals and entertainment for a good price every night (providing there were enough people) it was very quiet in Jan when we stayed but only due to the time of year with it being off peak times. The AC in the room was good, the property itself was lovely. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh sheets!

It wasn’t my vibe - I booked a private room that was just a dorm to myself for nearly $50. Once I saw how full on the party was I chose to leave and go to another hostel - the staff gave me no refund whatsoever for being there 30 mins. Pretty slack but again I am sure this is a crazy fun hostel if your vibe is to send it!!

The venue is a great Party hostel and I mean PARTY!! Think joss shots and lads on tour! If this is your vibe you will LOVE the place.

SNEAK IN THE ROOM! and bathroom not clean (bc it’s an outside bathroom, but they still clean the room everyday which is good) Turn off the aircon during the day (even if you’re still in the room) Staff always try to make you drink more and more and if you don’t drink (or not that much) you’re not included in the games and in the party.

Not a massive issue for us but it is cash only and they do a tab system, we were there for 3 nights and racked up quite a hefty bill at the end so had to get large amount from ATMs that only give certain amounts each time.

We loved our stay here. We stayed in the family bungalow and it was perfect change from a dorm room. Very clean and no issues at all. Staff and reps are absolutely incredible and so welcoming. Every night they have a different family dinner, drinking games and pub crawl: both great value for money! 2/3 of the nights we were there people from other hostels had heard about the events and came and joined- which the staff and reps were so welcoming of. Daytime is nice and chilled, good music and nice area to chill out. Location is so easy to reach the port and restaurants via walking or renting a bike from them! This was hands down one of the best places we’ve stayed so far on our trip. Would recommend for anyone to stay here, you won’t be disappointed! So sad to leave:(

On the photos that we looked online in order to book we saw a different type of room than the one we got. The room that we stayed in didn’t even have beds, just mattresses on the floor. Also they bathroom was outdoor and they didn’t provide us with toilet paper because they told us, after we made the booking, that they don’t use toilet paper in the facility for ecological reasons. We also had to deposit 50K for a towel. The party that they did, lasted until after 12am so we wouldn’t be able to sleep before that.

Beware - the hostel looks nothing like the photos!!! The Bungalow was awful. Blue bedding, with a half open mosquito net, the curtains were falling off the rails, and the floor looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bathroom area was horrendous, smelt of urine, and you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned, as there was a used shaver in there. No toiletries were provided, including any hand soap, which you needed in this property! The hostel claims to be eco, which is why they do not provide any toilet paper or hot water, however I imagine this is just for cost saving rather than eco purposes. We booked for 3 nights, however had to check out after 1 night and move to another accommodation. We didn’t raise this with the staff as they appeared to be very nice and didn’t want to trouble them. The location is on the more tackier side of the island, inland, which is about a 10/15 minute walk to the pier. The inside of the island is dirty and full of rubbish and debris. I would recommend booking accommodation on the outskirts of the island. The other side of the island is much nicer, with quaint outdoor bars, nice hotels and outdoor cinemas. You can also watch the sunset from the other side of the island. I can’t comment on the actual hostel dorms, as we stayed in one of the Bungalows. The outdoor facilities looked ok, small outdoor pool (looks much bigger on the photos), a bar and some sun loungers which all looked okay. There was music on until about 11pm, which we were aware of before booking as it is a party hostel, however if you are actually looking to party and socialise, I would probably look elsewhere. It felt very forced by the staff to socialise and drink alcohol, with a forced WhatsApp chat and optional family dinners. Unsure how this hostel has such good reviews!

Pretty much everything. This is an amazing, comfortable party hostel with amazing people and sweet dorms. The family dinners are great value and it is great to get people talking. Could have stayed here a year.
