Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaIt was quiet place nested near the rice fields of Ubud. The place give a homely vibe of Bali culture and people. Run by a family along with their staff, who made me feel I am not alone, yet could enjoy by solo time in leisure and care. I can’t think of anything to complain of this place. A solid 10.

I recently stayed at Jero Sebali, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to access restaurants, shopping areas, and public transportation. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. What truly stood out was the excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. Their attention to detail made me feel truly welcomed. Additionally, the breakfast selection was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. Overall, Jero Sebali exceeded my expectations in terms of both facilities and service. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely stay here again!”** This review is warm, detailed, and professional while keeping it natural and engaging. DenmarkOur family of four (kids aged 6 and 9) had the pleasure to stay at Jero Sebali Villa. From the moment we arrived—very late in the evening—we were greeted at the gate by Mr. Partha and his entire family, a warm and heartfelt welcome that immediately set the tone for our stay. Tucked away just outside Ubud, this villa is a true hidden gem. Jero Sebali offers a complimentary shuttle service at select times, so exploring Ubud was effortless. The villas themselves are authentic Balinese style, blending simplicity with elegance. The tropical garden and pool was even more breathtaking in real life than in the photos—a green oasis that made our stay feel like a dream. If you’re visiting Ubud, I wouldn’t think twice—stay at Jero Sebali. The hospitality, beauty, and tranquility of this place are truly amazing. Ps our youngest son forgot his teddy bear when we left, but Partha did everything he could to make sure that the teddy bear was reunited with its owner.

TaiwanHost Mr. Ucik and his sons are very polite and gentle, although we've no time to response/update our status and check in near 9 PM in a rainy day, they still wait for us and help us to take luggage, bring the cold and tasty welcome drink to us, introduce his beautiful traditional Balinese villa then let my family able to take a rest as soon as possible. In the rain to use half-outdoor toilet and bath tub were quite a special experience, the rooms are comfortable and we all slept well. In the morning, Mr. Ucik already wait for us and remaining gave us the gentle and warmly greeting, then we all have a simple but delicious breakfast which not only enjoy the food but also felt the harmonious of pool side and garden scene and surrounding nature sounds. Although it a short stay in the villa but we're like this place and hope we can stay more days when next time we back to Bali.

UkraineI liked everything!
Our stay at Jero Sebali Villa was unforgettable! The hosts are so wonderful; they did everything to make us feel at home. The location is perfect for those who want to escape the noise of the road and enjoy the sounds of nature. The villa was cleaned daily, and we could choose a dish from the menu for breakfast. The property features a gorgeous garden and pool. Thank you, Mr. Partha and his family, for making our vacation so special!

Our stay in Jero Sebali was an amazing and relaxing experience with Mr Partha and his lovely family and staff. For our late arrival and our departure all the family were waiting for us and helping with our baggage. The premises are beautiful! Well- maintained gardens, relaxing pool, amazing massages and stunning villas. The open bathroom was a great experience! Taking a shower under a blue sky, or under rain was worthy. Ms Partha and his family are very kind, and they always are ready to help you and give you that lovely sensation, you are at home. All my family really enjoyed our stay in Jero Sebali and we definitely love coming back in the future.

United KingdomThe property is a collection of traditional , exquisite Balinese villas in a rural location. As befits tradition, the bathrooms are private but under a thatched awning which can be exciting during tropical downpours but treat that as part of the fun! The rooms are elegant with a private veranda which can be enclosed with heavy rattan blinds. The pool is of the highest quality. The reception area is in the veranda style too and breakfast and simple meals are served here. You will be taken to the local restaurant ( 500 yards ) free of charge for your evening meal on request. The property is exceptional value.

Really loved our stay at Jero Sebali! The friendliest family who ran the place; nothing was too much trouble! Away from the busy centre of Ubud, but only a short 10 min drive. Excellent breakfast, cold beers, big ensuite bedroom, beautiful pool and gardens. Also very grateful for the mosquito net over the bed! :) Would definitely recommend.

IndiaIt’s an amazing space if you love nature. Although it is at a remote location, you will feel very safe and comfortable at this place. The place is much more beautiful than shown in pictures. The markets are not at a walking distance, you either rent a bike or get Grab/Gojek. The bathrooms are open, lighting in our bathroom was low, we asked for a brighter light and the owner happily replaced it. Mr. Partha is a gentleman and all his staff are very polite and helpful. You can rent a bike from the owner at just 80k IDR per day. Cleaning is done daily basis, food options are limited to fried rice and noodles. Breakfast is good though and you can choose from a number of options.

New ZealandFor us we based ourselves here for majority of our stay in Bali as haven’t been before and many people recommended staying in Ubud - we found just a little bit far away to travel around but that was nothing to do with the property- only mentioning in case others are like us and don’t know Bali. We would definitely come back and stay in future but would choose to stay around different areas of Bali depending on our schedule.
Absolutely stunning -Villas are beautiful. Hosts are beautiful and couldn’t do enough for us. Partha and his family are just gorgeous people. Meals made with love are delicious. Transport available to explore the area.
