The room is a bit small so you can't fully unpack your bag. Would make sense to have a single bed instead.

The bamboo cabins are pretty close to climb Mount Batur, which means you can start a bit less early than all the tourists making the day trip from Ubud or other locations. It means you can also make a longer walk to enjoy a bit more the views and being outside of the crowds. Our host proposed us several formulas and we were very happy with our certified guide Made who was very nice and eager to show us the area.

There is no door to the bathroom that is the only downside but everything else was good.

incredibly close to the Mount Batur trekking this is the perfect location to stay. The host is also very well connected and can help organise a tour guide for you if you require one.

We booked this place to do Mt Batur hike and to check out Kintamani village. We got our first introduction to local hike mafia when we enquired about Mt Batur. We were hoping to do it un-guided, only to get intimidated by explicit use of violence if we dare go without the in-house guide, who also owns the place. A couple who had pre-booked a different guide were told to leave if they didn't use the in-house guide. They were made to leave. We almost wanted to give up and leave the place, wish we had done it. We caved in and hired the in-house guide. During the hike he made very in-appropriate comments about our female family members, suggesting them as a property. Further more the hike is very easy and one cannot get lost. There were literally 100s of people on the summit. Beer and everything under the sun was for sale up there. So much about it being a holy place and protecting it. Overall we had an amazing experience in Bali til we stayed at this specific place. We really wished we had cut our losses and left on the first day. By staying we feel guilty of helping perpetuate this mafia behavior.

We woke up in the middle of the night to find a rat on the bedside table, 30cm away from my face. We tried to scare it away but it kept returning through the night. We couldn’t stand it, so we left at 4am. You can hear the rats in the bathroom ceiling. The images on the listing don’t represent what to property is like. It’s not well maintained and the facilities are pretty dirty.

The location is convenient if your planning on hiking up Mt Batur. The area is very nice. The host is polite and welcoming, and offered information about Mt Batur.

Great value for the money. Foe those how are planning to climb Batur. The host is friendly and you can have him as a guide to climb batur. He offers good price. Noting so fancy about the cabin but it's super clean and smells 👍

The place is literally in the middle of nowhere,if you plan a trip to Mt.Batur or surroundigs, rather stay in a bigger city and drive there. There were almost no facilities around,it was impossible to get gojek or grab there, almost no restaurants and those that were open were terrible, hard to rent a motorbike, however they charged you "well" for everything... The accomodation itself, well, there were tons of annoying flies, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, one literally sank some centimeters when lying on the mattress. Bathroom was kind of funny, indoor/outdoor (there was soil and flowers, not a floor). And you could not turn the lighz in the bathroom off :D It was also quite noisy,which we did not expect in the mountain area and daily sunrise trips to Mt Batur start at the cabin, so sometime around 3-4 am, 3 minibuses spit chatting people out.The first night my girlfriend barely slept.

The staff was very helpful and organized a transport for us when gojek and grab failed. Breakfast was okay Hot water in the shower

The pictures are deceiving. At night there is some erotic sound from the other room, seems that this place rents the room for doing a quicky.
