They don’t have a bar or offer breakfast but if you walk out of their street you pretty much run into Milk Bali which is a good option for breakfast etc.. + like in most hotels they only have pillows which I can’t sleep on 😅 (too big) so it was back to sleeping on towels again.

The streets of Canggu can get pretty hectic but Kalm is located at the end of a small street which gives you a break from all that noise + the garden and the pool are beautifully set up. The room is cozy and very clean 👌🏻 but the best part are the people working there. So friendly and helpful 🙏🏻👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at KALM! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. The pool was fantastic, and the ice bath and sauna were a great added bonus. I’ll definitely be returning to KALM!

We loved our stay at Kalm! It was by far the best place we stayed at in Bali. The location was perfect, and there were so many lovely restaurants close by (walking distance). The hotel was beautiful, and there was sun over the pool from 9-17. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and helped with everything we needed.

There is no electricity outlet in the bathroom (can use the hair blower) the hair blower is more like kids play very small and no power. No electricity outlet near the water heater so you need to look where to move it and I put It on the floor ( not comfortable) The towels need to be changed they smell horrible and wasn’t drying the body as they should.

Staying at Hotel Kalm was truly a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect—you can easily walk to some of the coziest brunch spots and great gyms, and the beach is just 10mins walk away, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. With only 10 rooms, it feels very private, intimate, and peaceful—just as the name suggests. It’s the perfect place to unwind, away from any noise or crowds. But what truly makes this place special is the staff. I have never met a friendlier, more welcoming team in my life. Their kindness and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. I will definitely be coming back very soon—Hotel Kalm is a little oasis, and I can’t wait to return!

I would love to give 10 but there are some things that I did not like: - if you are looking for privacy, maybe this is not the best option. Unless you close the curtains, everyone can see inside your room - this applies to the second floor as well as guests are walking in front of your room windows to get to their room. Forget about the daylight if you need privacy during the day. - there is not enough storage in the room, a couch or few more chairs (wardrobe) would definitely help. 3 hangers are just not enough for stay longer than 2-3 days. - me and my friend found the pillows not comfortable - too hard and big

Very nice and aesthetic hotel, the hotel manager was very sweet. There is just few rooms so you will occasionally be alone at the pool! + they let us stay 4 more hours after checkout time free of charge which I APPRECIATE. Thank you so much.

Very few power outlets, and the bedside ones were placed far from the bed. The room was small, so there was very little storage space as well.

We love Kalm, we stayed here at the start of our trip and straight away we felt at home and at peace! We moved on to see more of Bali but ended up cutting our stay in Ubud short after seeing that Kalm had more availability, we raced back to Kalm and were welcomed back by all the staff! If we are ever back in bali we will be booking Kalm for our whole trip! The pool is clean and perfect, outdoor shower to cool down; the staff keep everything spotless! So clean, so simple, so safe, so welcoming, so comforting, so Kalm!

My room on the ground floor was very exposed to view, which meant if I was in the room relaxing I wanted to close the blinds. A thin net curtain behind the main one could improve this for future guests. But overall a perfect stay

If you need a bit more privacy - choose the upper floor rooms as the ground floor rooms are a little overlooked from the pool area or people walking past.

Kalm is a mini oasis in the craziness of Canggu. Run by Andi and her excellent team who are there to help with your every need. Rooms are simple & stylish with good a/c, good lighting and super comfy beds. All rooms overlook the pool area and there is also a sauna and cold plunge tub plus a yoga pavilion. More importantly - it’s in a quiet location down a little street - an easy walk to great cafes & eateries like ‘Milk’ (good for coffee/breakfast) and ‘Milu’ (my favourite for all day eating, in a gorgeous location overlooking rice fields) Incredible value for money - would stay here again if we ever return to Canggu.

The balcony rooms are not very private and there can be noise from the other rooms. It would be great to have conditioner in the bathroom and a bit of a better hairdryer.

Excellent value for money. The bed is extremely comfortable with high quality bedding (which is unusual for this price bracket in Bali). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Loved the cold plunge, sauna and pool! Drinking water also provided. Very nicely designed and new.

It was close to perfect, but it would have been 100% perfect if they had a water hose in the bathroom, room service, and some basic plates, bowls, and utensils available for guests, since they had no room service.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was really good, but what stood out the most was the exceptional service from the staff. They were extremely helpful and accommodating—when it rained, they even gave us their raincoats for free, even though they didn’t have to. The room was spotless and cleaned daily without us even having to ask. Security was also very friendly, which made us feel even more comfortable during our stay.

It was very noisey until like 11pm. Was hard to sleep. Might have just been the location of the room I was in.
