Everything was awesome. Nice and cozy. Perfect for up to 5 nights. Staff are amazing and helpfull. The restaurant also offers a decent variety from Breakfast to Dinner.

As for the downsides: the walls are quite thin, so you can hear voices from outside. It wasn’t clear where the sounds were coming from — it felt like they were from the neighboring villa. Also, there were a lot of ants, but since the room was cleaned often, it wasn’t a big issue. Occasionally, they could be seen in the bed, but that’s likely just part of the Bali experience. Overall, everything was lovely, and I truly enjoyed my stay.

A wonderful place to stay! The property is stunning — clean, beautifully maintained, with a warm pool that lights up beautifully in the evening. The staff is very kind, caring, polite, and always ready to help. The location is about 13 minutes from the center by scooter, but the road to get there is scenic and actually added to the experience. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with a large bathroom and shower. The bed was cozy, and the sheets were clean. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch.

This place is one of the best we could imagine in Ubud area in Bali. First and the most important is the staff - everyday extremely nice, kind and helpful. Very very nice to our children, always smiling and ready to help and talk. All of them - lady and mens. Rooms are very spacious and very clean - we had an option with two rooms connected (2 adults + 2 children) and that was very good and comfortable. Food, during breakfast and dinner was very fresh and tasty. We never had to wait so long for that. While waiting children enjoyed feeding the fish :) Before coming here we were a little afraid about location but finally in my opinion being 10min from Ubud (only 3-4$ by grab one way) is much better than staying in crowded and loud city of Ubud. I would like to thank again for great hospitality of all the staff members. I wish to come again to d'kamala one day.

d’kamala by Prasi is a beautiful little hotel featuring eight charming villas, and our stay here was nothing short of delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sri, Winda, and Susanta, who made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. The pool is simply amazing—perfectly serene and quiet, providing a lovely escape to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly pressed fruit juice that added a refreshing touch to our mornings. On one occasion, we had an early morning trip, and they thoughtfully organized a takeaway breakfast for us, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic, just outside of Ubud, surrounded by nature and a lush garden that enhances the tranquil atmosphere. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Indonesian and Western dishes, all of which were delicious. Our villa was well-equipped, super comfortable, and impeccably clean, making it a perfect home away from home. We can’t recommend d’kamala by Prasi highly enough—it’s a true hidden gem!

The restaurant provides a variety of yummy food, both western and Indonesian style; it opens long hours so we always have enough time to enjoy our dinner after day trip. It can provide breakfast box if we need to have breakfast very early. We booked with breakfast and it has more than we expected - fruit, hot drink, bread basket and one main course. Refill water, hot, chill and normal, is available and safe to drink. All staff are very friendly!

Location is excellent. a few miles from Ubud Centre. Staff are super helpful and go out of their way to accommodate special meal requests. Room amenities and atmosphere are pleasant.

It’s such a cozy place just outside of Ubud, you avoid the constant buzz of the city and have a place secluded from most of it. The room was amazing, so clean and everything needed was there at arms reach! Oooh and the staff, they’re all soooooo helpful! They’re always ready to help you with whatever you need, they arranged a scooter for us, we got an amazing Balinese massage and we had some delicious meals. We stayed here for 5 nights and we’re happy we did! You can ask the staff for an itinerary and they’ll provide you with some amazing suggestions. It’s definitely recommended to rent a scooter, you can see so much of the beautiful environment Ubud has to offer. Thank you to all the amazing staff for the amazing service and friendliness ❤️

Everything was perfect. The only downside was that one of the toilets had a slight sewage smell which took a while to go away when showering.

The road next to the hotel has only some light traffic but probably due to the layout of the complex a kind of soundbox effect is experienced and each single piece of vehicle can be heard in the room. The villa next door, when occupied, isn’t very well isolated and conversations can be clearly overheard.

Beautiful rooms located around a pleasant swimming pool. Rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable. Bathroom decorated by stones and equipped with a large shower and big bathtub. The hotel is idyllic situated between beautiful rice fields. Nevertheless there are quite some nearby places to have a coffee or dinner.

We stayed on the right side of the resort in the room next to a neighboring vila. There must be something wrong with a sound insulation or the people living in the vila next door were very loud. The stuff was always ready to try to calm the neighbors down but not always successfully. If you can choose - choose apartments on the left side. There was also water coming from the ceiling in the bathroom., when it was heavily raining, but they promised to fix it when we leave.

Really nice area in the middle of rice fields, great food places around. Count with renting a scooter or taking Grab if you wanna go in the city. Stuff was super nice, food was great, pool and rooms very clean and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and all buildings. Over all we really liked it there and would definitely come back.
