the Homestay is in the middle of nowhere. there is nowhere you can walk to so we were really hungry most of our stay and couldn’t get food by ourselves without having to ask the owners to order for us. this was kind of awkward and the food from the nearby restaurant that delivered was bad. you have no choice but to HAVE to rent a motorbike to get around. this wasn’t what we wanted to do or really expected as no other reviews mentioned this. other people mentioned about getting free pick up. this was by motorbike only and not realistic for us as we had large luggage. thankfully they were able to arrange a taxi to pick us up but it’s worth noting so other people know. honestly staying here felt a little uncomfortable for us as we had to be very reliant on the hosts to assist as the Homestay is so remote. we moved further towards the port afterwards where we had choices for tours, scuba, cafes, restaurants etc.

the owners are lovely and helpful. the gardens are beautiful and the pool is nice. the room is comfortable with everything you need. bed comfortable, air con works well and is cold. nice breakfast. the Wi-Fi speed was good around 30mbs

Wayan and Putu are amazing hosts and truly kind hearted people. It was a pleasure to meet them. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible - if you are scrolling through looking for a room in Nusa Penida like it did, this is the place you should go to!

We had an amazing stay at Kampuak cottages. The room and bathroom were super clean, the location was great and breakfast was delicious. It was closer to Crystal bay, Broken beach and Kelingking beach and an hour drive to Diamond beach. The hosts were sooooo lovely! They went above and beyond in making sure were had a pleasant time at Nusa Penida. We were so cared for and felt as if we’ve known them for long. My wife fell sick on the day we were leaving which delayed our checkout but they were so kind and offered tablets.

I have been to many hotels around the World Never have i ever experienced such an amazing host like that. The room was cleaned twice a day Including new towels and amazing decoration and flowers. They help you with literaly everything you need and more and they didnt ask for anything in return. Wayan and Tutu, you are heartwarming Stay like that Thank you for treating us like family.

I have nothing to dislike

If I had more than 10 stars to give i will happily give it because this cottage gave me the best memory and experience of the whole bali trip. Suwetha and his wife are the best hosts you can ever find.They treat you like a family.They take care of you soo well and the stay is very cozy and very beautiful.You will not regret staying here. They gave us free pickup and drop from and to harbour. Truly the best experience. I had tears when I had to leave this cottage. There mango juice and pancake is the best.They arranged the most beautiful candle light dinner because it was our anniversary.Unfortunately we stayed only for 3 days.The next time I come to Nusa penida i am going to stay here only for more days.

Wayan and Putu are the most lovely and amazing persons we met in Bali ! We enjoyed our stay and were extremely sad to leave. Everything was made to make us feel comfortable and happy. Starting from the rental of very good scooters, to the very romantic dinner they are arranged for us. Wayan is always giving the best advises to visit Nusa Penida, and Putu cooks the best scrambled eggs ! The cottage have 3 rooms, the perfect place to make friends, as it happened for us. This stay was a truly amazing experience and we recommend wormly this place. Thanks a lot to our lovely hosts for taking care of us !

Wayan and Putu are kind and generous hosts and will ensure you have a great stay on the island. Scooters are readily available at the property. Wayan will tell you about various places you can explore on the island and is happy to help organize things like snorkelling trips. They provided us with a seamless pickup and drop-off to the Harbour. Highly recommended.

There was no way to go out to eat as there was no car or scooter available to take us and I was not up to learning to ride a scooter on the spot. drinks were warm on arrival and at breakfast. a urinal tablet was used as a deodoriser in my daughter’s cottage and the smell was pretty bad. Easy thing to fix though, but I don’t know how she slept in there without putting it outside. It felt like the location was quite remote, not walking distance to anything.

The staff are wonderful and very caring. I was sick when I arrived and they took very good care of me, bringing me paracetamol and arranging for dinner to be delivered to the cottages. the cottages are spacious, huge bathroom. The view from the property is beautiful.

Wayan and Putu were amazing hosts, you feel like you are their family. Very good location for west and east trips, rooms are very simple, but very clean and good working A/C. In our opinion the best thing was that they pick up you and your luggage from harbor (it is free!). Also you can rent scooter from them. Wayan arranged us boat tickets to Gili Islands for better price (400 Rp instead of 600 Rp) - super nice! Also gives you maps and explains what is the most worth to see in the islands, reccomended best local food.

It was a extremely good place to stay. The people are extremely nice and friendly the breakfast is good and everything is as it’s shown on the pictures. The view from the cottages is beautiful and it’s very close by to the highlights and the harbor of nusa penida. As a couple it was really relaxed and nice to stay!

Like in all Bali, there are animal sounds at night. However, we slept well at night even though I am a light sleeper.

Best owners ever. So attentive, helpful, nice... They made our stay amazing. They picked up us for free. Help us booking the manta tour (no charge!). They came with us till we were in the boat for the tour and did the same the day we left. We will repeat if we go back to Penida

An amazing location hosted by the nicest people you will ever meet. There is a beautiful pool, a stunning view on the island and the rooms have everything you need. Very clean as well. For us the most beautiful stay in all of our time in Bali! Very recommended!

No shower curtain means the bathroom gets quite wet. Location is close to attractions (via car or scooter) but nothing walkable. definitely need a scooter (which the owners can rent to you)

The best value for money. A big room with a hotel standard bed and pillows. Big bathroom with nice shower and a bathtub. A good size deep swimming pool with a great view. Very peaceful and quiet place. The couple who run the place are amazing. They helped me with several free rides here and there because I was not riding a scooter and made sure I had a great stay, always with a big smile :) They can provide you with best advice for tours, restaurants and boat tickets to/from Nusa Penida. The most competetive price that you won’t be able to get yourself. I will definitely stay again if I come back to the Island.

The location is in isolation, one has to walk a little uphill, no public transport, no street lights, very few eateries ( we were traveling with kids) after doing sightseeing, in the evening, when you enter the room you don’t want to walk in the pitch dark night to the restaurant which is few blocks away, the couple was kind enough to help us ordering home delivery, with just 1 or 2 options.

The best host I’ve ever met, this couple goes out of their way to help you. The helped us order food at night. Clean bathroom, clean bedsheets, clean rooms.
