Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaSeriously?😄
They were so caring. They even closed all curtains in the evening time when we were out. It was great for someone like me with migraines. No light comes in the room in the morning👍 They brought a young coconut 🥥 to our room as my husband was sick ( maybe Bali belly). Aris drove me to the pharmacy for buying medicine 💊 💊💊 and drop me off at the hotel quickly, he said young coconut 🥥 can help and the hotel provided it to us as complimentary. They prepared a complete breakfast box on the day that we wanted to go to the Nusa Penida island. They given us an extra hand bag 👜 to carry our stuff to the island. It was very helpful. The hot tub 🛁 had a great privacy, heat, and light. The nice smell can be felt everywhere in the room. I liked the design of the room, other villas, pool, gardens and staff traditional dresses👗 The tropical fruits in the room were so yum 😋 And the last but not the least, I loved the banana trees that could be seen from our room’s window. Had never seen that before. The way that all staff are so nice and welcoming. They all do greeting to all guests at all times even when they might be very busy or tired💚(Amazing attitude)

No doubt, my best stay ever in South East Asia – highly, highly recommend. The hotel itself is superb, rooms are mini villas (most of them having their own pool), amazing cuisine and breakfast, 2 heavenly pools and a vibe that's pure serenity and bliss. The staff? Incredibly warm and welcoming. Shoutouts to Santi, Nathan and the rest of the team – they make magic happen. Oh, also loved dining with a view of those stunning rice terraces. Dreamy spa, free shuttles and yoga sessions…they've nailed it. I had one of the best Balinese massage here out of the 15 i had since I got in Indonesia. If you crave peace and a glimpse of paradise, Kappa Senses is your place.

South AfricaThe breakfast dining area did not have any Airconditioning or fans ... but that seems to be the concept in Bali . But upon request the hotel arranged a fan for us on day 2.
Modern and contemporary with Balinese tradition as well. Excellent service and great food choices. Tranquil and peaceful . Super clean rooms and private pool . Very quick and efficient 24 hr room service and housekeeping . 24/7 Buggy cart to take you around the resort . Truly amazing hotel worth every it !!!

Excellent stay and experience!! Everyone very kind, smiling. Relaxing stay, we made some yoga, visited rice fields, did excursions activities. The free shuttle to go to City center is also very useful. The private pool with view on rice fields was great :) We had special events like romantic dinner at permaculture (amazing) and Halloween during the stay. Special thanks to Budi Jack and Lisna. They are awesome. The food at the restaurants is excellent.

Kappa Senses is away from the busy Ubud central town. Surrounded by rice paddies and beautiful gardens. It is a peaceful oasis ideal for couples wanting to relax and enjoy the resorts facilities. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always willing to help with any requests. My wife and I stayed for a week and had a lovely holiday. We highly recommend a stay here if visiting Bali.

AustraliaShampoo/conditioner/soap should be in the packaging/container where we can see the ingredients. Same products used in the public spaces vs in the room House keeping service could be better. Lack of choices for tea in the room. No milk, in the friedge in the room, due to health concerns, a lot of people dont have prima. Fruits did not get replenished unless you prompt them. No scale in the facility
Friendly staff, receptionists(Lopez) were very professional and accomodating. Food was exceptional especially in pool & kokoran. Delicious breakfast buffet Customer service from restaurants superb ! Our pool villa was amazing. Activity such as balinese offering by lisna was memorable, educational and fun 😊

Super chill and easy access to town. Facilities were very good. As everyone has a private pool, you can use that or the main pool as your own private pool. Beds were super comfy. Room with the rice fields, you look out directly at the moon at night direct from the bed! Rooms were top notch also. Staff are very professional and attentive. Breakfast has a great mix and they accommodated my fiances nut and coconut allergy fantastically. We had to go to the hospital as my fiance hurt her ankle on an excursion .Lanang the Bell Boy did an amazing job helping us and stayed with us the whole time there. He is a credit to the hotel! We would definitely go back!

United KingdomThe location and grounds are stunning only a short drive from Ubud’s centre which they provide a complimentary shuttle service. The staff were super polite, couldn’t do enough for you they also take the time to learn guests names, nothing was too much to ask! We actually left our larger suit cases with them for a few days after our stay as we only wanted to travel light to our next location they organised a drop off service to our following villa and ensured they arrived safely with us - absolutely would recommend if your stuck between a few hotel options for Ubud this is definitely the place to choose!

AustraliaFor a high end hotel the food was okay, we were hoping for more local options and less western food. The prices throughout the resort are pretty extreme. Food is some of the most expensive we've seen in bali. Also, virtually all prices are subject to a 20% fee on top that was only written in the fine print on menus. There are no prices of the massage treatments actually in your room so you need to call and ask or go into the spa, which is a bit awkward if im being honest. Also the cost of laundry of all things was extremely expensive, it cost us the equivalent of $80 aud to do 2 weeks laundry. The coffee was particularly average (if you're an Aussie bring your own) we had better coffee off the street in kuta/ubud. The resort itself is a little out of the way and the shuttle bus stops at 530pm so wouldn't recommend it if you're wanting to explore ubud. I'd say come out here to relax and stay in the hotel grounds, which we did and loved.
The resort is beautiful just breathtakingly beautiful. The staff are amazing, and the service is next level, they went out of their way to meet any need we had and were so lovely to talk to and get to know. The continental breakfast is really good, props to the omelette station chefs we loved your work!! We stayed in a villa with a private hot tub overlooking the rice paddy fields and it was amazing everything you hope for in a room and just post card beautiful. Everything was gorgeous, two beautiful pools to choose from lots of lovely space and the service was incredible. I was blown away by how well everyone spoke English too. The pasta at the pool restaurant was incredibly good and the cocktails are great. The massage we had was incredible too. Loved the experience.

SingaporeCapuccino with oat milk was available, but took a long time to arrive and was cold. The pool was unfortunately a bit short for swimming ( approx 17 m) and only opened at 10 am.
I loved the option to get fresh juice at breakfast. Would have been nice to have a few more fruit options available (papaya, mango, etc). Very friendly staff. Really appreciated the offer for local tours around the rice fields and village. Was great not to have to get into a car for a change and still get to see a little of surrounding village life. Our daughter (10 yrs) absolutely loved the rabbits and little pigs!

United StatesWine was a bit difficult to order as it comes from one place only, that can be streamlined given that there are several restaurants in the hotel.
I liked the villas and the layout of the hotel. It has amazing greenery and wonderful villa pools. Unusual location close to the village and next to rice terraces but that made it real and authentic. It is a really nice property and has excellent location to explore the Ubud area from there. Rooms are of a good quality, stunning bathrooms with outdoor showers. We loved the spa and the fireplace ambiance (one evening it was prepared for us to enjoy the atmosphere in private).
