Nothing… it was great

The location was a little out of the city, and it was beautiful. Away from the busy parts of town. It is on a hill overlooking rice paddies and the ocean. The host is gracious, welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.

We had an issue with the shower being too hot but after asking about it, it was promptly fixed while we were out and about enjoying our day. It was not a real problem since we could also use the showerhead in the bath, which did not have the same issue.

This Villa must be the most perfect location in Lovina. Great view to the sea right from the infinity pool and breakfast area. Our host made the breakfast herself and it was wonderful! I would recommend to try all three choices, so book at least three nights. The wifi worked flawlessly. The villas can be easily reached by motorbike or car and are situated in a quiet area amongst local residents. The house was big compared to other accomodations and everything we needed was there.

The view over the beach from Kayu Manis Villas was lovely. The atmosphere was peaceful. Dian was welcoming from the very beginning, the massages amazing and breakfast delicious and fulfilling.

The only negative we could find was that the stay wasn't long enough. It would have been good to have a little gap between the cupboard and the fridge to make it slightly easier to.open the fridge without also opening the cupboard. That is being very picky though.

Dian was lovely as we're the staff. The facilities were excellent, and service amazing. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and amazing shower. Breakfast was the best we had in Bali

We had an amazing stay at this villa! The breakfast was absolutely delightful, with fresh and delicious options to start the day. The host, Dian, was warm, welcoming, and always made us feel at home. The swimming pool was fantastic—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was provided with a variety of meal options. We really enjoyed the BBQ delivery, especially the skewers with garlic sauce—they were simply incredible! I highly recommend 'Warung Apple' to everyone!!! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We can't wait to return!

The mattress bit hard , but the sheets perfectly clean and soft.

Location is numero Uno, no comparison. Dian and her team look after us very well. Breakfast and tea was delicious. Definitely consider to comeback for us and family

Nothing at all. It's offbeat, which is best for the sunsets, but you have to travel a little for main sightseeing. Not a problem at all. A must recommend for anyone staying in Lovina!

Nothing, all was great

The hospitality of the host, the cleanness of the place. It has everything you need: very clean and beautiful rooms, a great infinity pool, great breakfast and the host is incredibly helpfull and kind! They have a wonderful spa with great massages (one of the best in Bali so far) at fair prices. The view is amazing! Dian, the host helped with everything, she rented us a scooter, she helped with the food order and the laundry. Very very hospitable! One of the best stays in Bali, we would totaly recommend!

Everything was great. More like suggestion. Breakfast can be improved by putting the fresh fruits quickly to the fridge so they will be cooler when they’re served.

The property is relatively newly built, but very charming infusing the Balinese culture to the modern structure. The infinity pool is so gorgeous. The staffs are super nice and friendly.

Couldn't stay longer!!

Everything! Relaxing, beautiful, comfy rooms/furniture. Good aircon, WIFI and netflix etc if you want it. Tasty breakfast and fresh juices. Could order in from warungs for tea if you didn't want to go out. Dian is an amazing host. Lovely views, Dian arranged, scooter and dolphin/snorkelling trip, good price. Must mention Julie the massuer, the BEST massages I have ever had. She worked magic on my tight neck and shoulders. Nice infinity pool. The best accommodation I have ever stayed at in Bali in my 8 visits. 15 min walk from main street, we had scooter as traffic not as balmy as other areas. Can't wait to go back. 🙏🫶 there is also a stunning private villa with its own pool, kitchen etc. As there are only a handful of villas you often have the area to yourself.

We spent 2 nights here. The whole area looks beautiful and was designed with great attention to detail. Also the pool was really great. Kayu Manis is absolutely beautiful and in such a quiet/peaceful area. The room was clean and offered enough storage space. The hotel is a bit out of the way, so a free shuttle service you can use once a day makes sense, as there is unfortunately no Grab service in Lovina. We were so greatful for this wonderful stay. It's a very nice place indeed, has a small infinity pool that overlooks a great view, opulent rooms, with very nice and caring hosts. It is a bit away from the center, but the hosts will give you a lift.

Superb experience. Very friendly stuff and always willing to help you no matter what situation you need. Rooms were clean, A/C was working as it should, breakfast was really tasty and pool near our house was big for adults and there was also smaller one for children.
