Loved everything

We loved the location in a more quiet area but still really nice restaurants and coffee places in walking distance! The houses where perfect for our little family of 3. The staff is wonderful and made this the perfect start of our three weeks stay in Indonesia.

The only slight niggle was that the room was quite dark. This is lovely most of the time, but quite challenging when you’re looking for something.

The staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also really good, with a delicious pea flower tea available. The villa was beautiful, clean and comfortable and there were many shops, restaurants, beach bars and the beach within easy walking distance.

The joglos are very comfortable and have a lot of privacy. The staff is amazing, especially Komang who is always ready to help and remembered all my preferences!

Unique green paradise with the most helpful and kind staff. I really enjoyed the concept of bungalows surrounded by greens. Everything is new and clean. Spacious room with big bathroom and comfortable bed. Perfect location with so many cool restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and beach nearby. Special thanks goes to Mr. Komang and Mrs. Ida from reception, thanks to their warm and friendly approach was feeling during my stay like at home.

It’s a bit noisy at night because it’s a wooden house so there’s no good soundproof. But I put on earplugs and slept soundly all night.

Just everything is perfect. This place is amazing. This is a classical wooden joglo and it feels like you live in a small balinese village 🖤

Maybe a little bit noisy in the morning because of all the birds and the isolation is not the best.

This place was amazing. The atmosphere with all the wood construction in the jungle is beautiful. The room was big and comfy. Bathroom beautiful with a barrel bath. The staff was lovely and the owner are very friendly.

We loved Everything! The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was amazing (single origin Indonesian coffee, the best I’ve had over here!), the staff were always so happy, helpful and kind, the grounds are lush and tranquil and the room was so so beautiful! We were upgraded to the family room when we arrived and gosh it was such a stunning room! We honestly can’t fault anything, it was the best place we stayed on our entire trip and we can’t recommend it highly enough! Kayu Village is an oasis!

This place is amazing. Most friendly people, very cute wooden Bali houses and great breakfast. The crew even brought us breakfast at the room when we overslept because of the night before. Really no single complaint. Just amazing.

Bathroom floor could be cleaner and hot water was not working one night, but got fixed the next day. Please preplace sunbeds that can go down, so sunbathing would be possible.

Great location near to many super good restaurants and not far from the beach. Staff extra helpful and professional. Best breakfast we had in Bali! Simple and tasty. Pool was superb and relaxing.

The room is relatively dark which is probably intended to create a calmer ambience. Nonetheless, as an architect myself, I would still recommend to add some functional lighting to the space since the windows are small. We are not sure if we didn't lock the door properly or it's just how it is, the doors can still be pushed open quite effortlessly when "locked". Not that this caused us any trouble, we consider the hotel to be very safe as is Bali, but maybe ask the staff to show you how to do it correctly if you have valuables in the room.

Convenience, tranquility and neighbourhood — more laid-back and packed with tasteful shops and restaurants (our fav: Bokashi). The beach is just a 10-minute walk away and you can also get to the bustling Canggu centre on foot just following the beach. The hotel itself is down an ally next to an art gallery hosted in a lush oasis, with a spacious pool and lounge/breakfast area looking over it. The hospitality of the staff is impeccable! Zero communication issue in English (even a bit Chinese!), and their recommendations are always thoughtful and helpful. Our room is very clean and the bathroom is extra spacious! Everything is in place and well-thoughtful, we really enjoyed our stay here!

We had a very great time at Kayu village, staying 3 nights. The staff was extremely welcoming, always helpful and kind. The pool was so refreshing and we loved our room where we had a great sleep. The breakfast is quite simple but made it with locally products and you have so much offers in the area. Great location in Canggu. We rent a scooter via the hotel to move around. The beach is about 10min walk from the hotel. Really appreciated our journey here, can’t wait for the next time!

It’s a new property that is very charming with its wooden bungalows. The staff is lovely and the location is perfect - quiet and hidden while being very close to great restaurants and the beach.
