The WiFi on the third floor was sometimes a little patchy and the AC in the room not the strongest.

Ketut's place is a beautiful traditional Balinese home full of character, only a few minutes' walk from the centre of town. The staff are lovely and kind. Breakfast was great, with a selection of fresh juices and a choice of Asian and Western, and the pool very inviting at the end of a hot day.

our twin room's interior design wasn't my favourite (the bathroom is a bit outdated), but I loved the door and other Balinese elements.

I loved staying at Ketuts place! The hotel is hidden from busy streets, so all you can hear are birds and nature. The pool is next to a river valley full of lush trees and plants, which you can admire while having breakfast in the hotels little restaurant. We also really liked the dance show in the nearby temple and our own balcony terrace. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect locations. Walkable to city centre. The most amazing and friendly staff. Rooms are beautifully set in a lush garden with a meandering path towards the pool and relax area. Set against a beautiful back drop of the green canopy from the next hill side. Family owned and run with beautiful tempels and authentic family houses near where you will be staying.

I thought my room looked ‘tired’ and I could see signs of mold, along with the smell of damp that had been masked by an over powering air freshener, I barely spent anytime in my room other then to sleep, the aesthetic and atmosphere made up for this!

The property itself was totally stunning, the gardens and pool area were simply gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious I chose a different option each day , and the staff were very friendly and charming.

Not enough electrical outlets in room for 2 people. One large bed and one small bed: designed more for a couple with a child than for 2 adult friends.

When we arrived the room floor was dirty and we asked the lady in the reception of someone could clean it, even though the issue was fixed not even an apology was said from the lady in the reception. Only had 2 towels, one per person, it would be nice to have 1 smaller towel for face, hair, etc. instead of just 1 big bath towel.

The pool area was beautiful and the room size - it was huge! The balcony was great too.

Inform Ketut if you have trouble climbing stairs. Not all rooms are reached with stairs.

They are the most welcoming family! Their service is exceptional. Ketut personally makes you feel so welcome, we miss them all already. If you have any issues he is onto it straight away. They offer beautiful breakfast and there is in house massages available. It's a wonderland of architecture. There is a lovely pool also. The property is close to the main area of Ubud.

Sometimes I like hot water during showering and you had to run the hot water for appx 3mins to get warm. It was perfect when it warmed up.

Private transfers and private tour of temples/waterfall were easily arranged through Ketut's Place. A truly beautiful location and the standard room with balcony looking over river was magic. Access to corner stores, cheaper warungs as well as fancier pool bar restaurants all within 800m. ATMs located down on main road near markets. Breakfast was amazing every day and appreciated the privacy offered during my 4 day stay. Bed and room were amazing with cold fridge.

Requested 2 single beds in both deluxe rooms which was agreed with host but when we arrived it was one large bed with small day bed. Disappointing. Deluxe room 14 was dark and smaller not what expected given the photos provided.

Loved Deluxe room 13. Excellent. The balcony was amazing overlooking the ravine. Room was divine. Private and peaceful.

My room had maybe not been in use for a while - so because of the humid climate it had a bit of a musty smell - which might disturb some people. I slept well in the room, after I aired it a bit.. And the AC was new and functioned well.

It was a lovely breakfast. Sitting by the pool overlooking the green forest. I loved the Indosesian breakfast choice - but there were other options that looked equally good.

The shower in bathroom not great, poor water pressure hard to shower and wash hair. Had to turn off then on several times the hot water to get a shower. No kettle or fridge in room also

Loved the compound, the location great to walk around for eateries and shopping. Ketuk and family were great hosts and compound in Balinese traditional style.

Unfortunately a slight damp smell in the bathroom - we were out and about most of our stay so the windows were closed during the day for that reason and then closed on a night due to the risk of mosquitos.

Fabulous location, big sized rooms with beautiful view. Area very quiet considering the location, just the nature sounds and running water all around you. Beautifully laid out property, with lots of greenery. Swimming pool was never crowded and again, surrounded by plants and trees

One of our room was under the breakfast place so we woke up to the sound of the chars.

Balinese family owned it. Breakfast was really tasty, we needed to make our choices one night before. They could arrange us everything. The area of the pool is fantastic. Staff is very kind.

The style of the room is traditional Balinese, this would be great if they’d take care a bit more of the rooms, they feel a little bit outdated. Breakfast could be bigger.

The room was a bit small and hot water not properly working, a lot of dust under the bed and the mosquito net around the bed was always falling.

Garden and swimming pool area are stunning in typical Balinese style. Close to the center and to the main attractions of the village. Very good breakfast.
