Great place to rest and relax. The rooms are fully equipped from the kitchenette to the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. The resort offers great food, an amazing breakfast with a large selection, delicious coffee and everything you can think of. The staff is very willing and helpful to solve your every wish. We were really very satisfied. The entire resort is neat and clean and constantly cared for. The massages were amazing. It was a big surprise for us that in such a small space there is everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much

The delicately layered and well manicured gardens provides a wonderfully relaxing environment. All staff, housekeeping, hospitality, drivers; were kind and friendly; going above and beyond. Great variety of Indonesian and Western food, preapred fresh and with generous serving sizes.

This place is fabulous. Hugo and his team have created an absolute gem of a property. Tucked away off the main street of Sanur and an easy stroll to the beach and shops. I've been coming to Bali for over 12 years, and the service and little extras that this place provides are exceptional. All the wonderful staff are friendly, very attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are firm and supportive, with a pillow top for comfort, so should be suitable for most.. The new pillows are awesome, and the TV has streaming services, including Netflix and Prime, without the need to log in. Breakfast is generous and delicious, and it can be served any time of day, and you can even spread it out and have coffee and fruit first then the main meal later, which was perfect for me. Even the coffee is great! Beautiful pool with very comfy sunbeds and generous,fluffy towels. They have literally thought of everything, even providing little extras such as afternoon tea, unlimited water, turn down service with glass bottled water and slippers by the bed, and a little chocolate treat. There's sunscreen, body lotion, mosquito repellent, and after sun gel in the bathroom as well as other goodies you might need and all quality products. There's even a little stand up fan for the balcony! Don't be deterred by the price as you get what you pay for and this place is worth every cent! I'm just over halfway through an 8 night stay and I don't want to leave! Thank you, Hugo and team. Well done on creating a very special little place, and I wish you all continued success.

The setting of Klumpu was off the Main Street which really felt like a little haven as opposed to the hustle and bustle. The rooms were fantastic and the beds were so comfy. We ate dinner there most nights which was enjoyable and the afternoon tea was a lovely touch. It was a great place to travel with our baby as when she was asleep early we could sit out the front and have a drink or dinner!

The only downside was that family groups were not respecting other guests when we stayed. This property caters to families and couples. Pool noodles and balls are provided. While this may have been thought to be a great idea, unfortunately, it spoilt our stay as a couple. We booked this accommodation expecting a small quiet property. Upon arrival, unfortunately, two families were in the pool, using the equipment provided, and making a huge amount of noise (property rules weren't abided by in relation to respecting other guests). This noise occurred every day of our stay. We felt that we could only enjoy the pool and outdoor areas when these families weren't there. It's such a shame for guests staying and wanting a relaxing time. As a small boutique accommodation, we would have expected it was a quiet place to stay.

This is a gorgeous small boutique property with only 8 villas. The villa was spacious and very comfortable and of a high standard. Breakfast was great. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The location was fantastic. The pool and garden area is lovely and very well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

We booked collection from the airport, our flight was delayed 2 hrs and I was worried they would have left but no, they were there to meet us, very kind and friendly. Even though we arrived 2am they took the time to receive us with a lovely cold drink and showed us all the facilities. I was very impressed by their kindness and friendliness. The resort itself is immaculate, with beautifully maintained grounds and stunning attention to detail that reflects the essence of Balinese charm. The food is absolutely delicious, showcasing fresh, flavorful ingredients that are very tasty and made all a delightful experience. If you value personalised service and an intimate atmosphere over the scale of a large resort, Klumpu Bali is the perfect choice. It’s a tranquil and beautiful haven where you can unwind in style and comfort. Overall, this is a five-star experience in every way. First of all it is unbelievably beautiful place with little cute bungalows and lot of greenery.. just want to sit and not move anywhere all day.. pool area is nice.. they serve afternoon tea ,and very attentive to details.. loved the idea of water dispenser, koz I drink a lot of tea and water and it was convenient. Location was great.. just minutes walking to the beach and shops .. and it’s quiet .. except the kids at the pool of koz but unfortunately u can’t get away from them🤦🏻‍♀️😅 the breakfast was exceptional! U just choose what u want from menu and it will be done perfectly 🙌🏻 staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The fridge door did not close properly so the freezer compartment melted. The pillows were bit too big and hard.

Pool, gardens, complimentary sunscreen/ insect repellent/ cooling gel/ body lotion, complimentary airport pickup and rides around Sanur, quiet, clean and well maintained, great location, great breakfast especially the smoothie bowls. But the best by far was the staff!

It's been quite a few years but this was our second time staying at Klumpu and it won't be our last (stayed for 2 nights, will still longer next time). We love the small resort vibe. It doesn't matter what room you have the gorgeous pool is only a few steps away. The rooms are spacious, clean and lovely. The night time turn down service includes a chocolate treat :). The restaurant is great too, breakfast was superb and we also had lunch there too (all the food was very good). In the heat it does feel like the walk takes a while to get to the beach, but once we took the bikes for a spin that was then our mode of transport - easy to ride around. The Sanur roads are not crazy like Seminyak, Kuta etc and totally fine to ride a bike on. The staff at Klumpu are exceptional, nothing is a problem. We also had an onsite massage, and while more expensive then the massages on the beach or streets, it was so nice to just take a few steps back to our room. We will be back! :)

The resort was tucked away from the busy tourist strip, which we loved. The resort has only eight villas, which made it quiet and very relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally lovely and friendly and we loved all the food, the amazing breakfasts and looked forward to afternoon tea everyday! We also enjoyed taking the bikes out for a ride along the beach. Everything was very comfortable and clean, including the pool which our 10-year-old particularly enjoyed. It was truly one of the best holidays we have had as a family in a long time so thank you so much for having us Klumpu. We look forward to visiting again!

Skip the generic resorts and go for Klumpu - it has only 8 rooms so has a very cosy intimate feel and lots of character. Our room was very private, spacious, and had everything we needed. Loved the loft beds! The pool was clean and set in well-maintained gardens and we had our own private lounge chairs in front of our room. The way the villas are designed keeps them cool even in really hot temperatures. The location was great, tucked into a quiet street sort of in the middle of the long stretch of beach. Food was very nice, breakfast had lots of options. Staff were very kind and service was to a high standard. Was great to get a free drive to the airport on the last day of our holiday. We were really able to relax at this peaceful spot! Cannot rate this place highly enough and hope to be back one day!

Everything was perfect for us. Great bungalow, nice pool in a beautiful garden. Add the delicious breakfast, great food at night and you get a near perfect holiday. Best of all was the entire staff: every member made sure all service is spotless. My wife needed a doctor after a accident, the hotel arranged it all.

Gosh, Klumpu is really a stunning place to stay. The only tiny thing we can say is the overcooked eggs at breakfast, but the rest of the incredible selection of goodies for breakfast and the wonderful staff and facilities really shines.

What a stunning place to end our holiday in Bali. The staff greeted us on arrival with a cool drink, a small snack and a cold face cloth, which was perfect and well received in the heat. We were able to stay on-site and swim in the pool after checkout which was one of the best ways to spend our waiting time until the free airport shuttle picked us up. In the shuttle were bottles of water. Extra touches of care were very welcome.

We were very lucky to have found Klumpu. Location wise, it's about 5 minutes to the sanur beach, you have everything you can think of but the best part I found was the staff. Can't thank them enough. They even helped me with a birthday cake for my girlfriend. I am very grateful to them.

Noisy children around the pool. Klumpu Bali Resort is not suitable for younger children. There are no facilities for children. Adults paying for a quiet relaxing experience do not welcome noisy, screaming children at the pool etc.

A tropical oasis! In a quiet location, this a hidden, 5 star gem! A short walk from all the main areas/beach of Sanur. Just 8 beautiful, spacious Balinese bungalows are furnished to a high standard with a touch of luxury and comfort! Toiletries & hairdryer provided. Great water pressure, large comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was fabulous - A main menu to choose one option from, in addition to juice, tea/coffee and a fresh fruit platter. All served at your choice of location: private terrace, poolside or at the small restaurant on site. The staff are wonderful! You are made to feel special. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Beds are put back at night with chocolates and slippers by your bed. They really do go the extra mile! The small pool is within the tropical gardens and sufficient to take a dip/cool off. The sunbeds by the pool are modern & very comfortable with towels provided. A fabulous place to read or simply relax. A great, free 15-min Massage was included on site. An amazing choice for couples to relax in luxury!
