No special storage room, you can leave your bags which is nice but they are just standing in front of the reception

however the biggest problem was the AC. I was cold whole days I spent there and there is little you can do to decrease it.

the stay was ok, the room is clean with clean bed. bathrooms are maintained ok. Also I could refill the water whenever I want.

Close to the Gambir station, staff is really friendly, good value for the price. Restaurant downstairs is a bit pricey, but their cakes are delicious :)

A little bit to expensive for the standard of Jakarta

The dormitory was very clean and comfortable. Big bed and place to stock our staff and put our bag Hot water in the toilette and space, clean with all the facility. Free coffee and water

The hostel was nearly on gondangdia station so it's pretty easy to travel to some places also the bathroom was very clean and talking about the bed is pretty comfortable for this price. Nearby the hostel there are lots of street foods available so food lovers especially tourists can enjoy their Indonesian foods.

For me these are some feedback, not too much negative as the hostel does a decent job: Entrance is through a restaurant on ground floor, door is locked by 10 or 11 in the evening for security (good thing) but than the main gate is also close (i do not know if there’s a ringbell to call near the gate, but i had to use my mobile phone, what if someone has battery dead or no internet?) Rooms are a bit small for many people to stay inside, to leave your luggages inside but it’s manageable Location is great but can be noisy because of the trains running all the times till midnight (i think they have earplugs available) Rules should be put more in evidence in common areas / inside the rooms as many guests can be forgetful Reception and luggage area all one space, no actual storage to put it inside but there are cameras everywhere you are safe Payment by card has extra fee (not sure if is mention on the website) 200k deposit payable only by cash or leaving your national identity card (i understand many places have this rule) but before to give it back, at least, pretend to check that all is good with the bed and the person

Nice Hostel, double room really comfortable, nice staff, clean, near to main road. 15 minutes walk to Gambir station as we took the train at 6.30am. downstairs got steak restaurant n few restatnext to building.

The location and nearby atmosphere is dangerous and awful. My phone was stolen near to hostel and I was not the only one. I was the 8th of 9th foreigner in a row who got robbed. Please be very very careful about your belongings. Don’t flash and hold your phone in reachable position. You can be easily robbed. I myself was robbed in the evening, when I was walking on the street, showing my family the city around through video call. Robbers came from behind, snatched my phone and went away with a moto bike. I have met some other guys who were also robbed in this way. It’s not a very safe place, please be careful!

Property itself is very nice. Clean, bright and calm place to be in.

Do not do your laundry here. Black items came back with white stains on them and had to be washed again. I told the staff right away and they would talk to the manager and get back to me for a solution but they never did.

Very friendly staff. Nice location near the train station and Monas. Nice common area and balcony. Small room, but comfortable.

The hostel is located very central, so you can visit hotspot by foot. I liked that it wasn’t super big or crowded and the staff is really nice and helpful. For example; they booked a driver to pick me up from the airport. I enjoyed my 4 night stay in Konko and would recommend the place when you visit Jakarta. I also want to give a little shout-out to Kenya (Instagram: @aghakenyatours). She is a local guide who lives in the hostel. She gave me all these very good recommendetions; where to shop, to eat or to visit. And of course her tour was amazing; she knows everything about Jakarta. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her and book one of her tours: you won’t regret it!

Cupboard under bed on top bunk of dorm to put backpack in was very awkward because it was high up and the door was hanging off
