I stayed at Kope House for a whole week and it was the best home stay experience I had in Bali! The family is so nice, always making sure I have all my needs met. The room is very clean and spacious, so does the shower room. The water power is very strong and hot water is consistent. Just that because it’s close to the main street where there’s some pub with loud music that I could still hear late at night, but it didn’t bother me that much. I’ll definitely choose to stay there if I come back at any point!

The room was even bigger and better in person. We were so surprised and pleased. Very relaxing since it’s in a narrow street about 10seconds walk from the main street. Perfect location. And the people managing the place took really good care of us. They may not be 100% fluent in english yet but their warm welcome gave us the best experience. You can feel the great vibe of each and everyone of them. We’ll be back for sure

Location: 100% CONVENIENT Might be difficult to find via Google maps as it is hidden. There's an alleyway betweet Yogurt Republic (left) and a cotton clothing store (right). Enter the alley and keep walking until you find a door on your left with a #4 as well as a fading "KOPE" sign. Walking distance to plenty of shops & restaurants. There's a Circle K convenient store as well as a pharmacy just up the street. Coco Supermarket is about an 11-minute walk. Nearby attractions that are also walking distance include Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (11 mins), Ubud Palace (14 mins), & Ubud Art Market (14 mins). You'll hear music at night coming from a bar/pub/nightclub called The Blue Door up the street. For a light sleeper like myself, this did not bother me, nor did it affect my sleep as the house is at a good distance. I consider this area to be quiet despite being near the main road. Facilities: Photos 100% Accurate Modern bathroom with an open shower. Cold & hot water. Comfortable bed. Wardrobe. Clothing rack. My room did not have a fridge, unlike the description, but I didn't mind as I had no need for it anyway. Strong AC 👌🏼. Electric kettle. Toiletries are restocked when running low. Shampoo, body soap, handsoap. Sitting area overlooking the garden. Room size is perfect for couples and solo travelers. Cleanliness: TOP My room was cleaned every day, even when I had already tidied up myself. No issues with bugs, geckos, or the like during my stay. Some linens have minor stains, but rest assured, they are washed. It's obvious from the smell of the detergent. I lived in Southeast Asia during my childhood, and it's just a thing due to factors like how powerful your washing machine is, water temperature, detergent, etc. Remember, it's a guesthouse, not a luxurious hotel. Food: 10/10 Breakfast made fresh every morning. Simple, yet delicious and filling. They have a few selections.

We loved our stay here. The property is close to the main street with plenty of restaurants and cafes but also shielded from the noise. It is very clean and comfortable. There was housekeeping everyday. We didn't have any creepy crawlies in the room. We worked from here for 2 weeks and the wifi was pretty good, we were able to work comfortably. Penny provided us delicious breakfast everyday and she went out of her way to give us some amazing Balinese sweets and cakes!! She even arranged a free dinner for us. They even have a cute puppy called chocky..who is very very sweet. We loved every minute here and look forward to staying here again!

I loved everything! This was the cleaniest place I've ever stayed in Bali! The hosts were extremely nice, the location is perfect, the wifi is great for zoom calls, the breakfast is amazing. The furniture is new, everything is new. The clean the accomodation eqch single day and put so much care about it. Next time when I go to Ubud, will stay there for sure!

If you are looking for a super-comfortable and exceptionally clean place in a center of the an action but bit off the main street for a peace and quiet where you can comfortably interact with the most amazing hosting family who are happy to share the culture if you are up for it, make you feel very comfortable or absolutely autonomous and not disturbed (if that’s what you are after), that’s your spot! Absolutely loved staying there and surely recommend it 🙂

Everything was amazing. The hosts were so kind, offered to make me Balinese rice on my first night and in the morning she prepared the most delicious Balinese pancakes. The room itself was extremely clean and so well located in the centre of Ubud so really easy to get around.
