Putu is a very good host and makes sure you have the best time on the island. I could rent a scooter, book a transfer from the harbor and even leave one of my bags with him while I was exploring other parts of Nusa Penida. The comminication via WhatsApp was great, so I could let them know when and what I want for breakfast. Overall very lovely staff, beautiful property and good location to start or end your trip on Nusa Penida. Thank you for hosting me!

This didn't bother us at all, but I will mention it: The shower only had little warm water, we travelled a lot of islands in the past and are used to it, it's warm throughout the day, so we don't need a hot shower The bungalows are not located in the main part of the island, which we actually liked, but has a lot of food options nearby which are probably a bit less expensive than in the center. It's also perfectly located for sightseeing or just going around the island with a scooter. If you like it more quiet, this is the perfect place.

Putu, the manager on site, is very friendly and does his best to make your stay as comfortable as possible The room was spacious with a fridge and everything you need, AC worked well, bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was big and comes with a hairdryer Breakfast with many options, always delicious and more than sufficient Scooter for rent for a very good price (80.000 IDR) Pool area was a bonus with everything you need Staff is very friendly Pool towels are also available Everything can be organised by Putu, you just have to ask him We really had a good time and extended our stay for 2 more nights

Really nice cottage. Peaceful place up on the hills away from the main street. Really friendly, nice and helpful staff. They also organize tours and rent scooters for a reasonable price. I loved my stay here.

First of all, I had reserved another place nearby, and I didn't even spend a single night there because there was a strong smell of mold, and there were roaches. This means I ended up making this booking last minute at about 8pm the night of check in. It was close enough to my original place, so I walked over with some bags. Putu and his staff hurried to have the room ready by the time I got there, and then brought me back to the original guesthouse on his motorbike to help me with my suitcase and other bag. I was so relieved when I entered the room that was so clean, beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, and nice-smelling! It was like night and day compared to my first place, so I was glad I chose to make the change. It was raining a lot, so it was important to feel comfy inside my room, and I was very comfortable there! The staff who made and served the DELICIOUS breakfast were so thoughtful, caring, and sweet! You have breakfast in the garden by the beautiful pool, and when it rained, they brought it to our rooms for us! The best part was that Putu was a fabulous guide to make sure his guests have the best possible experience while on the beautiful island. He connected me with best possible snorkeling experience, so I was able to see 6 big beautiful manta ray! He even helped with rides anytime he saw me walking alone on a road on his way somewhere as I am a solo traveler. He gave me great information about life on the island, and made me feel like family! I ended up staying longer than expected just because of how much a great experience this guest house made my stay! I highly recommend them!

Bungalows were really nice. We asked that we would like to have 2 bungalows together and they were. They were very clean and everything was great: beds, rooms, bathrooms. We also liked breakfast and the swiming pool. They can also arrange you transport or trips.

My experience at Kuri Garden Cottage was really exceptional. Putu and his family are really lovely people who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. From organizing my ferry to Nusa Penida to even picking me up personally at the harbor they did everything. At the cottage you can also rent a scooter at the fair price of 80k/day. The daily breakfast was also really tasty. I can really only recommend this cottage and hope to stay with putu again in the future.

Be aware that there are only limited restaurant, cafes and beach in walking distance - for most activities, you’ll need to organize a scooter, driver etc.

Very optimal location to access beaches on both sides - east and west. It is quiet and peaceful but a lot many eateries and marts are just 5-7 min away by a scooter. The staff is sweet and helpful, the breakfast is very delicious. The manager Puttu goes above and beyond to assist you which is a great plus.

Nice rooms, comfy beds. Putu was very helpful, he organised day trips, snorkelling and taxis for us. Putu was so welcoming and friendly. The best host. Not easily walkable to restaurants at night but Putu will help you with transport so not a problem.

We had an amazing stay at Kuri Garden Cottage! The room was beautiful, cozy, and came with a lovely terrace. The real highlight, however, was the hospitality of the owners – they were incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and attentiveness truly set them apart, making the experience second to none. They rented us scooters at a very good price, which made exploring the area so convenient. On top of that, they even provided free transport to Sampalan Port for our trip to Gili Trawangan. Their generosity and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend! Location is a bit far from centre but easily accessible with a scooter

As many other reviews point out, Putu is a top notch guy. So helpful and kind. Truly loves the island and its people. Doesn’t use single use plastic too! He went above and beyond for us so many times during our short stay. Never had a host this good. Feels more like staying with a mate than a stranger. All rooms have thoughtful little touches, shower was great, rooms super clean and quiet. If you’re tossing up between spending a night in Nusa Penida or doing a day trip. Come and spend a few days here. Support the local business and economy and get to know amazing people like Putu

The road to the accommodation is quite steep, but it's manageable by scooter or car.

The host was very nice and helped us with free transportation from the port to the accommodation. The rooms were spacious, clean, and bright. The breakfast included in the price was very good. We tried the omelet, banana pancakes, and pineapple pancakes. Everything was excellent.
