it said the room included a tv but there was no tv, it’s nusa penida so you shouldn’t need a tv unless your favourite football team was on…😂

the host putu was very helpful and friendly. unfortunately i was very ill while staying here and he did what he could to help. he managed to sort out a scooter for a very good price and was very honest about it only charging me for half days. Very reasonable price and would stay again.

Putu and his wife are the most accomodating, lovely couple! Putu made us a fresh juice on arrival, helped us organise tours, helped us to order dinner and we even got two massages from his wife in their Kurnia spa (10/10 massage!) We had fresh juice and banana pancakes for breakfast which were absolutely delicious. We felt incredibly comfortable and happy here! The bed was also super big and comfy ☺️

Great place to stay in Nusa Penida. The host is just amazing! The bungalows are spacious & clean. There is cleaning service everyday, made up if the bed, clean towels etc. Which is great. The spa is also very nice and worth a visit. Location is ok, but depends on what you are looking for. Its a 15 min motorbike drive from the port an 25 mins to the bar strip on the northerm part of the island. Please note, there are no lights in the evening. However, traffic after 18:00 is very limited, so very much doable. There are indeed some animals around, but not disturbing at all Would come here again when visiting nusa penida!

Slightly noisy in the morning, but all the pros definitely outweigh this

The family who own this property are the kindest people in the world. They will do anything for you. We could not have been better looked after during our stay. It was our anniversary too and they helped my partner organise the room to be decorated :). They also cooked us breakfast at 6:15am when we wanted to head out to beat the crowds. The spa attached is also lovely and we had brilliant massages.

I think we can agree with all the others about the host. He is genuinely a great person, always ready to help and always ensuring the best condition. I really think he alone can be the reason why you should go stay there because he really makes you feel comfortable and provides answers for all your questions. Everything was clean, breakfast was good, he arranged transportation for us, for a whole day tour on the west Nusa Penida. 10/10

It’s tucked away about 15 minutes from the main area of the island so just make sure to have a scooter or transport arranged. They also offer scooter rental for good price!

Beautiful property, super clean & delicious breakfast and snacks. Putu Tantra and komang Karin made it a lovely stay. Putu helped with driving when needed & set up manta ray snorkel tour and then day tour to beaches. Komang made delicious meals! Such an awesome family and wonderful stay! Thank you!!

The couple who owned the spa looked after us as if we were family. They organised our cars, advised on activities, recommended restaurants (which were excellent and 5 min walk). The breakfast was fantastic. Cooked at what time we wished. We had two massages which were relaxing and very decent price. It was quiet, small and ideal. Can’t recommend enough.

Unfortunately we got a couple of big cockroaches in the room. Nearby roosters were crowing all night.

Host Putu was really patient, he provided so much useful information and helped organised driver for our trip on the island. He accommodated our early breakfast request and gave us complimentary massage. After a long hike in Mt Rinjani, this was a very nice surprise.

Putu, the guest house owner, welcomed us very warmly. He immediately gave tips about where to go in Nusa Penida (beaches and outdoor activities). We booked the snorkeling trip through him and both saw manta’s and turtles. It was much cheaper than going to Manta Point. He even accompanied us to the snorkeling centre to make sure we were safe and sound. The breakfast was outraging delicious, the room was very nice, they cleaned every day. It was only 15 min drive away from the city centre. The hospitality of the family was amazing. They invited us to their traditional Hindu festival (Saraswati) and gave us traditional clothing to attend the event. We would definitely recommend this guest house: it was splendid! Thanks again to Putu, his wife and daughter for the wonderful stay in Nusa Penida!

Location was a bit far and the rooms were a bit too dark. It can be easily fixed by using a brighter light. Breakfast options are too limited. They are mainly different sorts of eggs or pancake.

Staff were so helpful and hospitable. Rooms were spacious and clean. View of the place and the massage spa are other bonus of this guest house that i enjoyed the most. Prices of services and the tours are quite reasonable and cheaper than other agencies.

Kurina is an absolute great place to spend your time jn Nusa Penida. The hosts are such wonderful people - they went above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible (it is always the people who make the place to a special place). The bungalows are cozy and big - so the bathroom with a great warm water shower. The breakfast which they prepared every morning was lovely. We loved the banana pancakes. Best Pancakes we ever had!!! Also Kurina Homestay has in-house spa where we went every single day for a massage. Super convenient and the massages were very relaxing with very reasonable prices. They even helped us with laundry and scooter rental. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay.

Lovely lovely people, huge comfy rooms with a beautiful garden in the centre and a wonderful Balinese massage on offer in the spa. Putu Tantra and family go above and beyond to make one's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The bed was very firm for our taste, but that honestly seems to be the norm in Bali, at least everywhere we stayed! Everything else was awesome.

Putu and his family are amazing hosts! Putu made us breakfast himself every morning, and he was quite the cook. Everything was delicious and made just as requested. He was also very helpful when it came to scooter rental and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were tidy and clean with great furnishings. The location was convenient, and we were able to visit all the top-rated beaches on Nusa Penida using our rented scooter. We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing - just be aware that you need a motorbike but that applies to every hotel on the island.. You can rent it super cheap at the guesthouse.

Everything was just perfect - the hospitality of the owner and his wife was outstanding! They took care of everything - transfer, tours, they even made sure to remove our towels from our terrace when it started to rain and we were not around. The room is very nice, it was super clean and the breakfast is delicious. Make sure to get a massage at the spa next door! You can just show up any time, really worth the money.

The place would improve with a small pool.

This place is a bargain - you kinda feel bad for how much you get for the price. The owner is the sweetest person and makes some of the best pancakes we have ever tasted. The place is clean, big, it has spa, and everything is super cheap - overall, one of the best value for money we have ever seen.
