Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkMy wife and I have had the best experience ever. We had our honeymoon at Kuwarasan and everything has been so perfect. Everyone was smiling, helpful and always found a solution to a problem. It felt like a small family which made us feel welcome. I have been on many trips in my life and this was simply the best ever. Highly recommended! Don’t hesitate, just do it!

Ubud was our first destination for our honeymoon before heading to Seminyak, and all I can say about our stay at Kuwarasan was exceptional and wish we could've stayed longer! Hotel is in the countryside, away from Ubud centre which was all we needed. Booking at this location means you need to have a driver or rent a motorbike - which wasn't an issue for us. Staff was so friendly and helpful, made us feel like home, and a surprise honeymoon decoration was waiting for us! Room service is on point and the food was exceptional!!

SingaporeProbably this place is more appropriate for couples or close friends as their shower has an open concept walk in area .. so not much privacy if you’re with family 🤪
Facilities and the services are great. We tried the Spa and it was a very relaxing experience. The hotel room and decor were very pretty and aesthetic designed in accordance with the Balinese culture

United KingdomThat we didn't have the time to stay longer - but we'll be back
The hotel is beautiful & serene & peaceful & clean, & perfectly placed to be just far enough away from the city - but close enough to get there easily. The hotel has 5x shuttles a day to/from Ubud central 😀 But the biggest plus for this beautiful place is the staff 😍 The are simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They're always happy & eager to help. They're the gem in the crown ❤️

United KingdomWe booked a villa room with its own pool, as you walk down towards the room, the flowers and plants attract the butterflies and seem to show you the way to paradise. You can slip out of bed and straight into the pool, you’re not overlooked. It’s an infinitely pool and the gardens have been planted and a waterfall created. For most of the day the dragonflies hover over the water and then the swallows take over in the evening. Food of the highest quality, staff as numerous in numbers as they are with their smiles. Start off with rooftop yoga in the mornings adjacent to a little gym with a perfect view. Alternatively we could stay at home in five degrees, I don’t think so.

United KingdomThe gym has very basic equipment but the worst part was that it was way too hot in there and impossible to work out as the staff leave the AC off. The housekeeping staff were very loud during the housekeeping in the morning in the corridors, so it was quite disturbing. They had a trainee at the reception who did not speak any english which was surprising. They ask you to pay extra if you want to use jacuzzi in the spa which I never heard of. The breakfast was a la carte and could be improved as I found the bread and pastries were very basic.
The hotel is in a beautiful location right in the middle of rice paddy. It was very peaceful and there was a lot of privacy in the hotel. Maybe it gets a lot more busy outside of the rainy season. The room was spacious and the balcony was great. The pool was lovely and there were not really any people at the pool when we were staying there. The shuttle bus to the town was very good.

United KingdomNothing. The weather could have been a tad better but we can’t ask the hotel to do that ha.
We loved this hotel for a couple of days downtime amongst the rest of the hustle and bustle of ubud. It’s otherworldly and a pretty special setting. Food was great, service was great, rooms were really nice with the biggest bath I’d ever been in. We also had a massage and my therapist definitely knew what she was doing. She was the slightly older of the two we had. We also did the morning walk which was nice to learn more about the local culture. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

We came here for girls trip, dont worry about location. Its absolutely not far from city that was our only worry. But everywhere takes approximately 7min anyways! Just order taxi, trust me its not far and hotel is amazing. Everyone is so nice. Special thanks for hotel manager, he was so nice and gifted us even beach bag. We tried spa with my friend also flower bath… o la la! Recommended (mostly for couples maybe but as friends we also enjoyed to have massage together and some pictures in flower bath 😂) ! You dont even have to go those famous pools cause this hotel have better one :D you cant capture beauty, I tried to add some pictures. We will definitely come back!
