There was nothing not to like!

It was beautifully set up, from the lounge/restaurant area and the gardens. Amazing! Also the tent was very comfortable and everything was so well thought out. The staff are the sweetest people and they made me feel so welcome. I only stayed one night but if I had known it would be this great, I would have booked longer!

The location is not comfortable if you are interested in going out in the evening to reach restaurants and bars, it is quite isolated.

Staff is perfect, always available for every requests. Free bicycles available and snorkelling equipment (mask and snorkel)!

Such a perfect place!! It is in a quiet street but close to the beach area. The tent has everything you need (comfortable bed, even an AC) and the best part is: you can rent a bike and the snorkling equipment for free! Both things you need on this island Also: very friendly and helpful staff! We have met many friendly Indonesian, but they are really extraordinary we already miss this place and wish we had extended.

We had the loveliest time in La Cocoteraie. The place is beautiful and the food delicious; local (and western), better than in many warungs we ate in Indonesia. The staff were helpful, kind and open, we learned a lot about their homes and culture. If you stay here, you’ll be close to the best spots to see the sunset.

A little bit off from most of the restaurant and bars. They are reachable within 15 min. with the bicycle on a bumpy sandy road without light. Not a big thing, but worth to be aware of it.

Hot water system slow in response. Only small problem identified.

Room was amazing and great attention to details. Good privacy although you are in a tent. Staff extremely kind and available at every request. Very useful the bike renting service and snorkelling masks included in the stay. The environmental green approach of the structure was very much appreciated. We also liked the big barrel of water available in the room.

Nothing to dislike. all was outstanding

Stunning surroundings and beautifully styled luxury accommodation. Glamping at its absolute best. Quiet location, but only a short walk or bike ride to the sunset side of the island with many dining choices and places to enjoy the sunset over Mt Agung. the dinner menu is excellent at the accommodation for a relaxing meal. pool is lovely. Staff are the best!

The guys at the Cocoteraie are amazing. As soon ad we arrived they gave us all sort of useful info for out stay. They are always eager to help so don't be afraid to ask for suggestions. You will always find someone at any time of the day. Rooms are clean and cozy. We were afraid we wouldn't have our privacy but that was not the case. Since bike rentals and snorkeling equipment is part of the service we even saved some money. The staff was so nice that since we were not able to spot any turtle on our first attempt, they prepared a turtle made out of towels on our bed the next day. When we will be back in Gili we will visit again for sure

I would suggest putting information about night hours otherwise noisy guests might be a bit annoying as the tents are close by.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Free bikes (though in poor condition ;)). Green and quiet. Stayed for 4 nights and had a great rest.

I didn't like how to lock the tent it wasn't very practical so I used to leave it open all the time

Flies: ALOT of flies especially near the kitchen / lounge area. Unfortunately both of us got "Bali belly" towards the end. Accessibility: Sunset beach is fantastic for a sunset but it's not the best spot for a swim. As the only form of transport is to walk/cycle/horse and cart on Gilli, not being near suitable beaches was a bit of a challenge as 1 of us can't cycle and the other can't walk in the heat for long periods (so we had one of us cycling and one of us walking for the bulk).

- Near sunset beach (5mins walk). - Access to cycles for rent. - Spacious tents. - LOVELY, super helpful staff. - Was a unique experience - Amenities like a fan, AC, shower etc were helpful
