Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThis is a tranquil oasis in a still pristine part of Bali. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The garden quiet and well kept as is the pool. Highly recommend staying here.

United KingdomThe room was very dark and dreary! Old and tired. If painted white with bright curtains it would make all the difference. The roof on the outside toilet is a haven for insects. Being a Dublin girl I was traumatised every time I went to the loo!!!!
The pool and garden. The staff were lovely.

AustraliaFriendly warm family environment. Wayan and Tini were very welcoming, and providing us with exceptional service, breakfasts were delicious with plenty of variety. Andre the owner and his wife were lovely, friendly and very kind. We loved our 21 days that we stayed at Le Jardin. The pool was just amazing, we could hire snorkeling gear from the resort which was good. Snorkeling was exceptional . Went for lovely beach walks too which were good. Captain the resort dog was lovely, he would walk with us everywhere. Warung Agung and Peoplepoint restaurant are within walking distance, they serve delicious food. Warung Agung has live music every night which is played by the owner of the Warung. They are beautiful friendly owners. If you need to hire a bike or taxi contact Wayan from Amed bike hire. We loved our stay here and will be back in a heartbeat.Thank you Le Jardin for an unforgettable stay.🙂

FranceSwimming pool id small, definitely smaller than, on the photos. Breakfast is basic, with limited options; you have to choose between eggs and pancake, and between fresh fruit and fruit juice. Staff is not as friendly as to be normally expected in Bali
Room was spacious and convenient; location is good, in a relatively quiet place in Amed as compared to others: plenty of good warungs around

AustraliaSmall cluster of villas in a stunning garden. Right across the road from the main access point to Lipah beach where you can snorkel for hours and hopefully see turtles. The stretch of road has an array of local and western restaurants. Perfect location.

AustraliaIf i was being picky, i would’ve loved a softer pillow (they were pretty solid) & a little fridge in bungalow would’ve been icing on cake (as i have some meds i need to keep cold). But they certainly didn’t mar my wonderful stay there.
Gorgeous self contained bungalows with beautiful open air bathroom. Walls were nice & thick, keeping outside noises down. Grounds were stunning & beautifully maintained. Loved the gentle & happy resident dog & cat. Hammock out front of bungalow was also a lovely, relaxing touch and not to mention the pool! Stunning & also not at cold. My favourite stay so far n Bali. Would come back in a heartbeat.

NetherlandsVery beautiful garden and surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful. The stuff and owner are very lovely, a big thank you again! Only 1 minute walk to the beach which is perfect for snorkelling. They also helped us with organizing trips and a very friendly and helpful driver. The bungalow itself is really nice with a cosy terrace. Many good restaurants are also nearby in walkable distance.

AustraliaThe water pressure in the shower was very low.
This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it even more than the first. The staff are super friendly, the pool is very refreshing and the garden is beautiful. Our bungalow was quite basic but the bed was comfortable and the seats and hammock on the veranda were great for chilling out. The location is perfect, just across the road from the beach and with several good warungs, cafe and supermarket a few metres away. We also rented a motorbike from them, which was great service.

Germany- Wifi connection sometimes strong sometimes weak. Sometimes the connection lost. Definitely not suitable for digital nomads - The house no.1 was very leaky, the doors and windows are old. Everywhere the mosquitos could come in even there is a mosquito net on your bed. I bought some products from the supermarket to control the situation o The room is not too big and also not very small o This area is like a village. The works in the hotel like trimming the gras or other things what makes noise was mostly after 3 pm where slowly the visitors came back from anywhere. The most guests are not in room after 10 am, why they cannot make that noisy works after this time??? At night the dogs are sometimes barking the roosters are very early active, the main street is sometimes noisy, like everywhere in Indonesia.
+ Kind and smiling owner and staff + Open air bathroom + Nice bed with mosquito net + Silent aircon + Well cared outdoor area + Housedog and Birds are making nice moments + 1 minute walk to Lipah Beach (colorful fishes, corals and turtles) + Good Restaurant, Cafes and a supermarket nearby

ThailandThe position is good being close to the beach but there is nothing much around for shopping apart from a little supermarket and a nice fruit shop. We have been told it was not really Amed anymore and not the best beach for snorkelling. ff <as welcoming and efficient
A beautiful small villa in a nice garden. We enjoyed the garden with 2 nice quiet dogs a cat and the parakeets in the aviary. The pool was big enough and warm. We felt like at home. The staff was welcoming and discreet.

AustraliaThe upstairs room is tiny (but ok for kids), but also a bit hot and no mosquito net, so we had to kill all the mozzies before sleeping. It has a very steep ladder to get there.
We stayed with two kids in the family bungalow. Booking.com says there are two single beds upstairs but actually it is one double mattress. However we were given an additional mattress so it was not a problem. Breakfast was tasty but for the men in my family on the small side. We liked the proximity to the beach where we could snorkel. We also liked the lovely garden and the two dogs and cat! The caretakers were kind and did their best to accommodate our wishes.

FinlandIt was all good
The cabins were very nice with own terraces. View to the beautiful and well-maintained garden was very, very nice. The beach access is just straight out of their gate across the street. Could not ask for better location for accommodation, that is not on the beach itself. The owner couple are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good (scrambled eggs on bread, fruitplate/smoothie, coffee). Good value for the money!
