One of the main reasons we booked this place was because of the no child policy. Unfortunately a family with a child stayed 4 nights at the hotel during our stay, in the room next to us. We asked to change room, the staff tried to help, but it was not possible due to the booking system (another room was free). As we stayed long term four nights are not that much, but if we had only been there for a few days this would have affected the stay more.

We spent one month at Luana and really enjoyed the place. The place is beautiful and have a lush and green garden and pool area. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, which was what we had hoped for. The staff are nice and helpful especially Jagat, and we became good friends during our stay. They even helped with buying fruit at the local market to make sure we got to taste the best fruit. Selong Belanak is a quiet small place, with some restaurants, both local and international. We rented scooters and explored the area around. It’s a 30 min drive to Kuta. We recommend staying at Luana and hope to see you again next year:)

Review for Luana Lombok After some days in the busy city of Jakarta, arriving at Luana Lombok was a breath of fresh air. The contrast couldn’t be bigger. This place is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by greenery with a lovely, refreshing pool that became our favorite spot to unwind. We stayed in the big bungalow, which was spacious, super clean, and had an air conditioner that worked perfectly, keeping us cool and comfortable. The location is fantastic, close to Selong Belanak Beach, the only beach positioned to have a stunning sunset. Watching the sun set there was an unforgettable experience. Our favorite beach for pure relaxation was Mawun Beach. It is perfect for unwinding with its calm vibe, soft sands, and no surf, just peaceful waters ideal for snorkeling. If you’re heading east along the coast toward Kuta, you will find an incredible viewpoint and a super cozy café called Folk Coffee. They serve the perfect coffee and lunch with breathtaking views. It is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge during your adventures. We originally planned to stay for just one night but ended up extending for four nights because we loved it so much. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, arranging a scooter for us within 10 minutes and making the extension of our stay seamless. The breakfast was incredible, so good it felt like a treat every morning. This place is also a perfect base for exploring all the beautiful beaches around Kuta. Luana Lombok is an absolute gem. Cozy rooms, a serene environment, delicious food, and amazing staff made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Sadly the surf school recommended was not the best.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, always there to answer any questions. The property is very clean and the rooms are very light and with good AC. The pool is very nice to chill in after a day surfing. The breakfast options were all delicious too.

Gives yoga retreat vibes, but is also just a nice place to chill in-between holiday adventures. I had the unlimited yoga pass & found it so worth its value when staying here. If surf to big, can always have a day of yoga. Great teachers. Pool is beautiful. Atmosphere relaxing Love love love.

Easily one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Indonesia. I was in the dorm room but it doesn’t feel like you are, as the accommodation is so lush. Breakfast was included and it was incredibly delicious and a great range. The staff are super lovely and so accommodating. Luana is in a quiet area so bear in mind and enjoy serene and peaceful Lombok!

There were a couple of times where we had no water but they very quickly fixed this and we were compensated with a few drinks the next morning. The lock to our bathroom was also broken and didn’t work, which we reported twice during our stay but sadly never got fixed. We also believe it’s necessary to mention the small amount of mould building up in the outside showers

We really enjoyed our stay here in Lombok, the room and facilities were extremely nice. Staff were very helpful and the people we met in the resort were nice and made it a very sociable but also extremely relaxing stay. The breakfast was also delicious which they provided every morning. The laundry service was amazing and it was very easy to rent a scooter at a great price. We recommend staying here!

The main issue are the mosquitos. In the bathroom, there is a window without a glass. Consequently, there was a dozen of mosquitos waiting for us everyday for an hour around sunrise and an hour around sunset (which is the moment you use it the most to get ready or to have a shower after the beach). Fortunately the staff was very helpful and gave us an efficient mosquitos spray. In the bedroom, there is also a gap between the roof and the wall. At night, we had a pleasant visit of a gecko, but also unpleasant visits of mosquitos. Fortunately, we brought our own mosquito net with us. So we advise any future guest to take one with them.

The hotel itself offers a nice location next to restaurants and shops (3/5 minutes walking distance). The facilities are nice, wonderful swimming pool, and nice breakfast. The bungalow is big and is beautifully decorated. The bed is extra comfy. The soap are customised for the hotel and smell amazingly good. There is a drinkable water bottle (made of glass) in the room that you can refill thanks to the water dispenser of the hotel (convenient + no plastique garbage). The staff is really helpful, and arranged us a motorbike within an hour and a car to the airport with decent prices. Last but not the least, the breakfast menu offers amazing bowls and pancake, omelette and nasi goreng one of the best we have had.

Nothing, I liked everything. I'd have liked to stay longer, but it was already fully booked.

This accommodation is a peaceful and quiet oasis with a beautiful design. The bed was perfect for me and my favorite on my three month trip so far. The accommodation is very clean (european standard). The staff created a great atmosphere - they felt like friends. They also helped me with every single question (terima kasih!). The breakfast tasted very good. The scooter rental was quick and easy. I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend the accommodation.

My favourite place in Lombok! When I think back on my time in Indonesia, immediately Luana comes to my mind. I felt so much at peace here and I envy everyone who is yet to experience this place for the first time. Little paradise with lovely people and the best breakfast 💛 First , I stayed here for just a few days but during my time in Lombok I came back to Luana for several times. Overall I stayed here for multiple weeks because I loved it so much. I will definitely come back here someday ♥️

Rooms were fantastic! Bathroom was really clean and nice and light! Great location to get to Selong Belanak beach. Breakfast was included and was great! Was nice an quiet so no noise problems and the whole hotel had a really nice vibe! You can have breakfast outside your room or go sit on the table by the kitchen with other guests.

Everything is beautiful and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the room is super comfortable. The pool is clean and the area is great. Luana truly feels like a little oasis, a hidden paradise in Lombok. The attention to detail was amazing and created such a cozy and serene atmosphere. We initially booked a 3-night stay, but we ended up staying for a whole month! We kept extending our stay every time because we had such a good time at Luana and on Lombok. This place really makes you feel at home! The breakfast is absolutely delicious and Hannah(the owner) and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. During our whole stay we also took surfing classes with Jack from Moda surf, which were fantastic! We made significant progress and thanks to Jack had amazing days exploring the southern shores of Lombok. It was such a fun activity and we looked forward to going out every day. All in all we had the perfect combination of relaxation at Luana and surfing adventures with Jack! We are definitely coming back! Greetings Chayenn & Eleni

The only negative I have to mention is location of Luana in Lombok (If you don't know lombok that well beforehand). If you want to spend some time in Kuta (where many other surfers and tourists stay) the scooter drive is quite long (35+ minutes one way). But altogether, the Selong Belanak also has it's charm with a few good restaurants and very nice beaches. For example a popular surf spot Mawi is close by the accomodation.

Everything about our stay in Luana Lombok was wonderful. Incredible rooms, shower outdoors was beautiful, comfy beds, nice staff, incredible breakfast. The list can be made long but I truly have no complaints about our stay at Luana Lombok.

I absolutely loved my stay in Luana - the ambiance, décor, attention to detail, welcoming staff, calm atmosphere, and delicious food. The hotel's location was perfect, close to everything, including the beach and restaurants. I only stayed a night and I wish I could stay more. Also they we'll be opening a coffee shop soon and I'm already excited to come back and try it out! I will definitely come back and stay longer to enjoy Luana & Selong Belanak.
