The rooms are looking a bit old time for a revamp

We where very happy to at LV8 again we stayed a few years ago and it was still up to a great standard. Breakfast was good a nice selection above most standard hotel breakfasts

The room is quite old and I would say that it needs to be renovated. Also the was an unpleasant smell sometimes.

The location and staff are very good. The beach and swimming pool area just perfect for family stay. Also the suit is very nice to stay with a kid with and it’s a lot of free space for everyone!

Property is very tired and needs a refresh. The pool was mirky and we chose not to use the pool for the week during our stay. Towels were so old and worn. Should not be advertised as 5 star resort.

Rooms were good, clean and spacious. Shower was stiff and hard to use. Location was very good, close to great restaurants and staff were helpful.

Air con in rooms undersized, so room was too hot. Was unable to sign for food in restaurant as a guest this was not good

Towels were quite old in the bathroom and the mini fridge was difficult to open in the cupboard where it sits.

Aircon were dripping so much water in the room. And it’s away from the local market.

It was nice and quiet. And close to finns beach club.

Poor maintenance of all facilities and poorly trained front desk and hospitality staff.

Room cleaners and the basic room layout were good.

The hotel might need renovation as it is outdated and focus more on cleanliness. Towel are not as white as it used to. Room are very big that makes its hard to focus on cleanliness. First night of our stay, the toilet can't be flushed so we had to contact engineering to fix it. Beaches have many rubbish which is disappointed eventhough its actually has beautiful beaches. If renovation can be done, it has many good oppprtunity to bring more guests.

All staff are very friendly and attention to detail especially during breakfast. Plates are cleaned as soon as we finished eating.

The staff unfortunately were not available enough. Orders took far too long, so much so it was frustrating in the end.

Felt a bit isolated as not much around to walk to. Restaurant was poor. Pretty basic decor and breakfast was not good in my opinion. Very little in the way of gluten free options. Pizza at lunch was nice

I think it’d be better if they improve/change some stuff like the cutleries and tableware in the restaurant, the water and shower faucet in the bathroom and some other equipment that looks rusty or broken and old. Because this makes this hotel not meet our expectations as a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is just on the seaside/very close to Berawa beach. I even can walk from Finns Beach Club back to the hotel.. Their bedroom is very big and the bed is well comfortable..

Things are a little tired and in need of repair

The property presented as tired. It doesn’t look as ‘Hamptons’ or as ‘chic’ as the photos. It’s struggling to sit in either ‘Hamptons’ or ‘ Modern’. The foyer is a clutter of furniture mid century furniture, Modern art work and staff in Balinese dress. The interior corridors are long and gloomy with amber lighting and large art works which don’t fit with the exterior theme. The property needs painting and jet washed. The pool spa wasn’t working, the gym sauna out of order. Pool furniture lounges stained and low stock of umbrellas. We waited almost an hour for our rooms on check-in, we had no help with off loading luggage from taxi and had to find our own rooms.

The pool is just amazing. Perfect way to spend hours watching the surf. Food well priced and consistent. The chicken satays and spring rolls were 12/10. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. We were given a credit as we waited nearly an hour for our rooms on check-in. We had a two bedroom suite and a deluxe suite. Rooms were large and partial ocean views. We had 20% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverage but had to present the card on every single transaction. Why couldn’t it be set up in their POS ? Breakfast- Al a Carte was varied and fresh. Buffet leaned to Asian hot food. Expresso coffee was a nice touch.

The breakfast was not very good. All the al a cart menu items were cold. The eggs and bacon should be HOT and the bagels are not bagels, they were rolls that needed to be toasted better.
