The toilets and showers let it down for me, they need to be much cleaner and 50% of the showers don't work properly.

Staff are super friendly. Moved me to another room in the middle of the night because my Aircon broke down. They do food & drink and also have a pool. Free towel included.

The showers were cold and the rooms had freezing air con. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but they did the job and served a purpose! No curtains on the beds, but some privacy provided by the shelves in the triple (single sex) rooms.

Great social hostel ... even if you didn't want to drink and party with the family dinners each evening. Free drinking water and well organised, good value boat trip.

This is a party hostel with young people. If you're are not in this mood, change, but if you really want to enjoy with people and go to the party every day, that's the place to do. Activities for that every day, happy hour at 2 pm until you're drunk. But please, learn to your customer how it's important to be quiet when they come back a 3am completely drunk... that's funny 1 time, not every night...

The room is really comfortable and it's good to have a simple bed. You have space for your luggage. The pool was great and clean every day.

Reps can be quite pushy and cliquey. Wifi and aircon didn’t work in our first room which they were clearly aware of but changed our room easily.

It was hard to come in contact with the reception in the afternoon/evening when you need something, because they are out socialising. The flirty attitude from the staff can be a bit too much:)

If you go there, you should be prepared that it’s a party hostel. They leave every night at 22 and go to the same bar, so you can still sleep on the nights you need to recover. The staff is very on and is trying to create a good party everyday, and come and talk to you and arrange games. So it’s the perfect place for a solo backpacker who wants to party

The pictures in the booking reservation doesn’t match the reality. The accommodations is more old and dirty then it appears on the pictures. The bathrooms were old, needing fixing and not clean, the shower dripped only little water. In the bedroom, the ar con made a lot of noise while running.

I never leave bad reviews but this feels warranted. I don’t understand the point of the reps. They are really cliquey and some of them are just plain rude. I’ve never had an issue making friends at places and was weary to book because of one review that said this exact thing. I thought I would be fine because I can make friends anywhere but not here. Hopefully this is a one off but I would never recommend this place to a solo traveller, maybe it’s better in a group.

I really liked the Indonesian staff!! They were all extremely great and helpful. I liked that they had activities to do every day.

there is nothing bad about this hostel. People complain about the bathrooms but they are not worse than any other party hostel and honestly maybe even nicer because there are so many of them.

This is the best hostel ever. The social atmosphere is unmatched due to a number of amazing reps both foreign and local. The dorms are great since it’s only 3 people per room and there are more than enough bathrooms, showers, and sinks so that you never have to wait. This hostel will get you drunk. In addition to the many many many happy hours (the first one is 9-10am) there are always free shots being handed out.

The bedroom and bathroom were very dirty. There was a smell of damp/mould and sewerage in the bathroom. The shower water was cold and smelly, and the shower was very unhygienic. There was no hand soap/shampoo/toiletries of any kind. You have to pay a deposit to use a towel. There was no sheet on the duvet on the bed. Overall, would not recommend.

The air conditioning worked. The guests were friendly.
