Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe room could have been cleaner and we heard strange noises during the night coming from the space between interior walls and roof.
Breathtaking view, near to Jatiluwih rice terrace.

IndonesiaGorgeous location among the rice paddies. The view is stunning. The room is large and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The warung next door has a small but delicious menu. Recommend visiting with a scooter to be able to get around as it is a little out of the way, but the seclusion makes it a haven away from the busy main areas.

SwitzerlandThis place is so nice, surrounded by ricefields in the beautiful area of Jatiluwih, you can hike around, chill in the river, go to hot springs, visit the chocolate farm in Cau and so much more. The host Artha is so friendly and helpful and its so practical that he and his wife have a warung just a few meters away from the Bungalow.

NetherlandsEverything was perfect. A litlle refridgerator would be a nice extra.
Cozy hut, with a fantastic view over the beautiful green rice fields. A very quiet and serene place. You hear the water of the subak streams and enjoy watching the various trees, plants, flowers and birds (including bali starling). At night you might see fireflies and hear the sounds of the insects. In my opinion a very special place, where you can feel one with nature. Tridatu Waroeng bamboo is just next door, where you can enjoy good breakfast, lunch and dinner. That is convenient, because there is no kitchen or refrigerator in the cabin. There is a kettle, drinking water and coffee and tea. The waroeng has stunning views over the valley and sunset. It is runned by the hospitable Arta (and his friendly wife and staff, and the sweet dog /tourguide Blackie), who is also great co-host of the cabin and does everything to make you feel comfortable. He also offers convinient taxi service and knows a lot about the surroundings and temples in the area. Every 3 days the cabin is cleaned, bed linen is changed and new towels are provided. I was there alone as a woman and felt completely safe. The location, Babahan rice fields, is not (yet) touristy like the nearby Jatiluwih rice fields. It is an beautiful, authentic place, with cheerful and friendly residents. You can take beautiful walks, and for example visit the old Pura Luhur Basikalung temple (sarong available at the entrance, please make a donation), and the Crystal waterfall. If you like tranquility, authenticity, nature and friendly hospitality, this is definitely a recommended place. Thank you Arta and family for taking good care. All the best!

LithuaniaThe warung nearby has a small menu and not so tasty. You have to drive if you need something to eat or buy.
Exceptionally nice location. We really enjoyed staying in a separate hut. Also, the local dog was a great companion:)

SwitzerlandEverything was perfect!
This place is really a gem! The view on the ricefields is just stunning, you can do very nice hikes directly from the accomodation and the hosts are such friendly people. I also enjoyed the fact that they have a restaurant just a few steps away from the room, so they are always reachable, up for a chat and serve delicious food.

AustraliaIt is a bit far from everything and hard to get taxi
The surroundings are very beautiful. And we watched an unforgettable sunset. You can take amazing photos at the swing and the resting area during sunset hours. The rice terrace is very beautiful and it is. Better looking than the tourist attraction ones for when we were there. The famous tegalalang rice terrace was dry when we drove pass. So can’t believe our luck with having one just looking out from our room! Only thing is it is a bit far from everything. Not easy to get driver from Gojek or grab to come to here. We were able to get klook to book for private charter drivers to come and take us around and book tours that includes hotel transfer. Night time is very quiet. Restaurant is friendly. We didn’t make it to the waterfall the way going down was a bit bushy this time. The sunset was amazing and the surrounding is really peaceful. It is really good if you want a get away sort of holiday.

IndonesiaA single hut in and with a great view on the rice terraces. All new and clean. Quiet and with a comfy bed - we slept well. The manager Arta is a very helpful and made sure we had everything. A restaurant is close by, although we had the breakfast on the terrace.

IndonesiaThe natural beauty that can lull me all day long. Also close to the "kincir" waterfall. I also watched the stars scatter in the sky with the bonus of fireflies at night 😁 it feels like 1 night is not enough for me to stay here. Next vacation I will definitely visit and stay longer here again. This is really a cabin full of magic. Thank you!
