Great hotel, very nice beach with pretty clear water. Very friendly staff. The breakfast is good but the food that you can order for lunch or dinner is delicious. Would stay here again

It’s in a perfect location to be able to walk down to the beach and relax in the morning or afternoon and it looks straight at the volcano which is what I wanted to be able to see! There are 3 pools, 2 connected, so much space for people to spread out and not be on top of each other, all seats with cushions and umbrellas too! plus shallow sections in the pools just perfect for toddlers and kids. The food was actually very good, buffet breakfast with western and traditional foods, had food or snacks around the pool daily and room service just as easy to get if needed. the price was reasonable for a 1 bedroom king and we asked to be able to move to top floor so hubby could see if there was surf no problem! if you want to see the sunset you’ll have to go back around the corner or for a scooter drive or to one of many food places along the beach :)

The juice is terrible - it is not real juice (powdered maybe?) which was not great at breakfast time, also the cocktails tasted horrible because of it. Breakfast overall was okay, sufficient variety but tea and coffee not great. Not the best breakfast but not too bad. I read the reviews before going, lots of comments about the hard beds - we didn't think it was that bad, they were very firm but I like a firm mattress. There were millipedes that liked to wander around our room, sometimes hard not to step on them, didn't bother us but might bother other people. They were harmless though. Maybe only an issue in the villas with pools? Noise was no problem for us as it was a quiet time of year, but on the last night we could hear the TV next door that had been left on all night - I think sound could potentially be an issue when it's busy and the hotel is more full. But mostly we couldn't hear anything when in our room, the Private Pool Villas are right in the centre of the resort, so no street or beach noise. Only other suggestion is that there is a couch or somewhere to sit in the villa, there was only the chair at the desk otherwise only the bed to sit on and we were often wet from the pool.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The location is magic, right on the beach with the hotel pools overlooking the beach and beach bar, with plenty of sun loungers and seating on the beach as well as around the pools (which face the beach). We stayed in a Private Pool Villa, which we loved, it was so nice to be able to relax in our own pool. The mini bar had some soft drinks and snacks (chocolate, Pringles) which were free and refilled daily plus two new bottles of water every day. Turn down service was a nice touch, room service is available as well until 2:30am. We had to leave early before breakfast opened on our last day and we were able to order (the night before) "breakfast boxes" which was great. A clothes/towel rack was provided at the villa to hang out wet bathers etc outside, which was very handy and used constantly! Restaurant and beach bar prices very reasonable, we found the lunch/dinner food to be quite good as well.

Bed is quite firm by western standards. Bottled water is expensive, but there are cheap shops just outside on the street.

Lovely resort, very spacious but not too big. Two pools. Semi-private beach area, great for photographs and videos. At the quiet end of the main road, everything is still close by. Staff are all very friendly.

The rooms are a little tired and some things could definitely do with an upgrade.

Mahagiri has the perfect outlook, palm trees, white sand and clean blue water. Swimming is not easy as you can really only swim on high tide due to rocks and seaweed farm out front. The pools are great, large and clean. Being gluten free and vegetarian Kadek made sure I was catered for each day which I was very grateful for.

Bathroom a bit out-dated and smelly. A lot of ropes and seaweed first few meters in the sea. Lack of umbrellas in the sea shore.

Everything just needs a good scrub. It's surface clean, rooms were tidy, but mould in bathrooms, and public areas were not the cleanest.

When hotel is fairly empty would have been great to get a room upgrade. Very noisy village view rooms made it hard to sleep.

The location is perfect, with a large garden and beach pool that’s great for relaxing. The air conditioning was excellent, keeping the rooms cool and comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly, ensuring we had a smooth stay. Just note there may not be a lift, so check if stairs are an issue.

The beach in front of the hotel was super rocky and not good for swimming hence we couldn't go in the water and my son was super disappointed.

The hotel was nice, clean and had a big pool and met my expectations. The breakfast was ok, what you can expect on a small island, just nice but nothing extraordinary. The hotel lead to a beach which was nice and clean may be more for people to just sit and relax.
