Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The 1910 building and gardens were truely beautiful and it was like walking back in time. The service in the restaurant and the food was wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer, however we had already booked our next place. If the opportunity arises we will definitely be back.

Atmosphere is absolutely briiliant. Although part of it was overshadowed by the Ramadan festivities the grandeur of the hotel was still visible. The lobby where you can quietly enjoy a drink, the dining room and the beautiful gardens and the wonderful swimming pool. We loved it.

Sadly to be expected in climate there is a noticeable mould presence in the rooms. When eating in the hotel there is 21% surcharges.
The hotel is situated close to the Plaza and many restaurants, this stay was to attend a wedding in Surabaya the Hotel had very personal welcoming notes and platters in the room on arrival. The history of this hotel is a wonderful experience to explore and the furnishings are amazing. All staff went over and above to accommodate any of our needs it was a fantastic

The history of this hotel is a wonderful experience to explore and the furnishings are amazing. All staff went over and above to accommodate any of our needs it was a fantastic stay.

We had an amazing time at this historic hotel full of interesting history, just a few small minor teething problems to start with but thanks to the excellent staff on reception especially Diego who went above and beyond to make every thing perfect! A special thanks to both Diego and the general manger. Great value for money a very special hotel, we will be back for more!

Beautiful setting, an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Loved being able to do a ‘proper’ swim in the large pool.
