It wasn’t a problem for us because we hired a scooter but I can imagine this being a bit of a pain to get to if you were to walk, plus there isn’t any street lights on Nusa Penida so if you’re planning on coming with no form of transport around the island I would strongly suggest against it

The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, we had the lower room so direct access to the pool, I genuinely haven’t stayed in a nicer place before. This was my third time in Bali and I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. What a beautiful location, couldn’t fault it. The restaurant menu had good choices and we enjoyed the coffee, great choices for the free breakfast too.

The main negative is the noise from upstairs guests (we stayed in ground floor room), you can hear muffled discussion, doors closing, kids running over your head, also overalls the huts are very close to each other, so you hear and see the guests staying around you.

Rooms are really nice, beautifully decorated, very clean, great view, good location, staff is helpful and friendly, the welcome toiletries bag super nice, and i loved all the plants! Comfy beds with good quality linen. Pretty good food, too.

Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Hotel is fantastic. Rooms are very comfortable and cozy, all decoration is wooden carved. The view is stunning, you can see all de bay, Bali and the volcanos, as well as an epic sunset. Staff is awesome as well. Food and breakfast well served and delicious. The hotel has a venue at the beach, with free transportation. Definetely one of the best hotels I stayed during my trip to Bali, Gili Islands and Nusa Penida.

If you are in the second floor, you must be Really careful when going to the pool since the stairs are really small and dangerous

The rooms are amazing and the can bring your breakfast to your room as well as the massage, that have shuttle bus to take you to the beach resort and can arrange private tours for a really reasonable price

It was a little out the way but I don’t think there was loads to do in general so not a biggy.

Property was beautiful and really great for sunrise & sunset. The hotel team were amazing and so accommodating. The shuttle of an evening was so useful and we really had a nice stay.

Hmm, not much.

Such a groovy place situated on top of the hill. This is the sister resort to Mambo Beach Resort. But I personally loved the tastefully design rooms in this one. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay. And that I did. They provide transport services and scooter hire which I reccomend

The only thing that could be improved is punctuality with regard to breakfast, it is technically only served at 7am but it generally came 15-20min later, if you need to go somewhere in the morning it can be stressful.

We loved our stay at Mambo hill! The attention to detail of the rooms and other areas, the pool, the view were all amazing.

Everything lovely property and rooms are very nicely equipped and comfortable with good amenities and complimentary pick up from the ferry and if you take down stairs room than feels like you have your own swimming pool. Very good and Exceed our expectations. Good for any type of traveller. You get more than 5 stars hotels in bali here .I will comeback for more time next time .Amazing room s and everything is fantastic.

Soundproofing isn't the best (esp. if you are light sleeper) expect a rooster alarm clock.

Helpful staff and great hotel view, it's a bit out of town away from the beach front but there is a short shuttle ride that makes up for this. Bed was large and comfortable with great room facilities.

We felt welcome from the beginning to the end. When you enter your room, you feel amazed by it's beauty, and the unexpected ocean view overlooking a big part of Bali. It is even more beautifull than on the pictures. We loved the cooperation between the 2 hotels Mambo Hill and Mambo Beach, and the free shuttle service. Mambo Beach is on a beautifull beach and has amazing snorkeling possibilities, fishes and coloured coral right from the beach Good food and drinks, it has a perfect beach vibe. Personnel is very friendly and most willing to help and make you have a perfect stay. From arranging the collection at the port of arrival, till the drop off at the departure port. A big thank to the full team! Amazing service, we have never experienced this before. We would love to come back, and we highly recommend this place

Kitchen staff and people who would bring our food would not wash their hands after using the restroom. We saw two of their staff walk out from the toilet and walk right past the sink that was situated outside. One even wiped his hands off on the turf floor indicating that he probably wiping urine off his hands. Really disturbing given that these people were the exact ones handling our food and preparing our drinks.

Amazing view, room was so nice, staff were absolutely amazing. View is spectacular and the pool was right out your back door step.

The location boasts beautiful views and the pool is amazing. Staff are so kind and the room was gorgeous. There is a shuttle that brings you to sister resort on beachfront where you can swim etc. There is also an attached dive/ snorkelling shop. Great value for money!
