ItalyTo doing the check-in it took 30 min. I don’t know why! They were looking something at the computer without saying nothing. Maybe they were checking but 30 min (?) The wifi didn’t work in the room, it was working only in the 1st floor in the kitchen area. They should improve the cleaning in the bathroom and in the room as well. Under the sink was FULL of mosquitos. Too humidity maybe (?) No toilet paper. The rooms are literally in the main street so REALLY noisy until late night. You can hear anything like you’re on the road. For the same price you can get something better in other places.
It’s a good option for a night before to go to Bunaken Island (it was the cheapest option). The room is big enough, me and my boyfriend were in a share dorm with 4 beds but we were alone. Big locker! Free water and coffee. Staff is nice. 17 minutes by walk to the port.

FranceThe room is old and the bathroom is full of tartar. A little refreshing would be welcoming in this old building. It was not easy to contact anyone when we wanted leave the hostel.
It is the best option for this price in Manado. The beds are very comfy even if the street is loudyat night (no double glazing). Think about take your earplugs ! Johan is very kind and welcoming.

IndonesiaIt used to be much cleaner. Teenagers always hang out outside of the hostel and throw cigarettes buts everywhere. The entrance to the receptions are littered with cigarettes buds. The pantry for making coffee seems to be not tended anymore.
Green hostel is in the centre of Manado. Convenient for budget traveler who just need a transit before going to airport or Bunaken island. The dorm room with 4 bed bunks have it's own shower inside which is convenient. Bed sheet and towels are fresh and clean. The hostel have a small pantry to make coffee or tea.The owners are friendly.

I spent one night at Manado Green hostel before heading to Bunaken island. The location of the hostel is really good and the owner is really helpful 😊 He drove me to the public boat and offered some fresh mango for breakfast 😊 Dorm is quite basic but there is everything you need, also airconditioning 😊
