The cleaning service is just (in my opinion) a little too early in the dorms

The staff is really kind and helpful and the place is amazing. I really recommend you to spend some time there, which is a really quiet and relaxing paradise🌞

Just wow ! Hostel is super new and super nice. Personal is very friendly. I wish i can stay longer than one night. It's perfect place. (On the top of the building is yoga shala space!)

Not much of a vibe. Staff was quite pushy to try to get you to eat at their restaurant (there are AMAZING local warungs all around so take a chance to explore). As I mentioned pricey activities offered. You can find them for half the price if you search on your own.

Looks objectively amazing! Really couldn’t believe I was in a hostel. Nice pods in air con dorms. Pool and terrace for workouts/yoga. Location is fairly secluded which I appreciated, surrounded by jungle and local neighbourhoods. 15 min scooter ride from pemuteran beach and most diving schools. The hostel has a restaurant. Breakafast is not included in the price but was probably one of the best ones I had in Bali (still fairly pricey) They offer diving options and other activities but they’re all fairly high end priced. Awesome value for price. I’d book it again!

Good dorms, mattress was okay. Staff was so kind and always happy to help. Amazing common areas! Food at the restaurant was the best I had in Indonesia, coffee available in the common kitchen

Maybe the rooftop could have some bean bags and hammocks. It would be nicer to chill there at sunset

The dorm beds were comfortable, and each bed had a curtain and wooden shelves, light, plug socket, so it was very private for not being a private room. The shower has been the best shower I've had during my travels. The bathroom is very nice in the dorm, like luxury. Pool was nice too, they have a comfy like lounge area where you can watch netflix if you know how to work it and kitchen so don't need to eat out all the time and could save money that way. They organise FREE shuttle services to their other locations, like the spa, pools, and restaurants. Also, if you stay for 4 nights or more, you get a voucher, the sauna, and ice baths or yoga class. The food was too good as well, I liked the mangroove restaurant food best, the katsu burger 🤤👌 Reception were friendly, they make a WhatsApp group for your room and help with any tours outwith the hotel. So, nothing to fault really.

We stayed in Mangrove bay hostel for 4 nights. We were suppose to stay 3 but we extended. The service is super and the people are the kindest ever. We’ve stayed in the wooden cabin. It gave a lot of privacy. They brought drinks and food if you asked for it and kept everything clean. We’ve rented a scooter which was super easy. We booked diving and snorkeling at the hotel as well. The trip was super. They have a free shuttle which brings you up the mountain to do fun stuff like yoga or watch the sunset. In the end we were scammed by a man from the grap app. Gedeyasa Helped us out and arranged a safe driver. His service was so kind! Thanks to everyone from the hostel, you really made our stay special.

They did not collect old and dirty towels so we ended up having loads of them. When you want a towel u need to ask. (Afterwards they removed them very quickly) Our AC was broken , it was very cold but we got extra blankets

The hostel is very clean. Stuff at the reception is very talkative and helpful. They organise many activities that are worth trying. Big bonus: they disinfect the place quite often

There were ants everywhere, which is to be expected but I couldn’t eat or read without ants crawling on me or my food/belongings. also the bathroom doesn’t have a closing over the window so there are tons of mosquitos that can get into the room and shower while bathing

I liked that they put everything on a tab for guests to pay upon check out. It was clean and extremely well kept.

Not social at all so felt quite isolating as a solo traveller. A lot of activities were priced for 2 or more people to book so more difficult to do as solo traveller, such as Ijen hike which was a main reason for staying in the area. Mosquito nets in the dorm would be very welcome as there were a lot of mosquitos getting into the dorm room.

The hostel was really clean with nice exterior and pool area. Yoga classes were great, staff were welcoming, and the WhatsApp was really useful for communicating transport. Food at the restaurant was good and had lots of options.

The loud call to prayer from the mosque near by. First call was a 4.45am and (because it was the prophet's birthday during our stay) the morning call went for 2 hours! The hostel had no control over this and we were moved to a quiet room, which we loved.

Mangroove is a lovely hostel/hotel with an amazing pool and restaurant. We booked a morning snorkelling trip through Mangroove. Do it! The reef is healthy with amazing schools of fish. Great fun. The staff are sweet and friendly. Big shout out to Yessir who helped us plan a fantastic day drip to Bali North National park.

The dorm are super basic. I would have liked some kind of table/chair in it and a light inside the locker since it's so big and deep. It also needs more sunbeds in general and on the terrace and also a drying rack in the sun.

Nice structure, very helpful staff which helped me organize all of the activities. Also the restaurant part is good.

Mangroove Bay is exceptional. We stayed in the wooden house, its beautifully made with a gorgeous bathroom.

Fresh, clean and new with a modern minimalist style and beautiful aesthetic. The beds were comfy, the restaurant food amazing, the pool area relaxing. As Mangroove Bay Boutique Hostel is off the main area, the fact that a shuttle was available to Sumberkima Hill for yoga and spa treatments was a great service. I stayed in a private room, it did not feel like a hostel nor did any part of the facility have hostel vibes! Excellent value for money.

What an amazing place!! I was so impressed with everything here. Staff is just perfect. so sweet. Food was outstanding, really enjoyed having dinner in the hotel for the first time this trip. Room was very cute we stayed in a little hut. outside shower super clean and the instect spray everywhere ready to use as you are staying next to the mangoove. in the morning they arrange a snorkling trip for us and let me tell you. you cannot miss out on this. we also snorkled in amed but that was nothing compared to the trip we had here. 10/10 would reccomend staying here!! I don't even have one bad thing to say about them and will return on my next trip 100%
