Lovely little resort close to Pererenan beach. Rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. Staff is exceptional. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is delicious and well presented.

Masmara’s location is both its strength and weakness because it is a bit landlocked, especially if you are wanting to explore other areas.

Masmara has the style and feel of a quality boutique hotel, rather than a resort. Staff were exceptional in their friendliness. At only 150 metres from the beach, it enjoys a quieter aspect on a cul-de-sac road. There are two upstairs apartments that have ocean views. If you love the beach then you’ll love this hotel.

Traffic, traffic, traffic. What a nightmare. And so many men thinking it's necessary to take off the t-shirt to be cool - in all the senses.

The property is very conveniently located next to Pererenan beach and surrounded by great eateries from morning to evening. We rented a scooter to check out the other parts of Canggu, which proves to be the only somewhat possible way to travel around this part of the island.

Everything at the hotel was good, but Canggu: hate it or love it, it’s very crowded and not authentic Bali or Indonesia, but if you would go to Canggu would def recommend this place!

Really nice hotel in Canggu, nearby restaurants and bars but not too busy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice restaurant in front. The beach is just a few minutes walk and you can surf there

The shower was not strong or hot enough.

Spacious room. Clean and tidy. Nice and quiet location but still close to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The first room we had didn't have a dehumidifier but now I know to ask for it or maybe they will have them in every room from now on! :)

The staff was wonderful, pool was great, restaurant (KIlo) was amazing and we could work from there as well. We stayed here two times and the second time, they even had a dehumidifier in the room which was amazing as it's rainy season and it was great to dry all our clothes and keep the room dry. Great location, super friendly people and would definitely stay here again. There weren't even any mosquitos either! Easy scooter parking right out front. It wasn't so crowded and the restaurant took my allergies seriously too. It was quiet too!

Honestly I have nothing to add here. I travel frequently and this was an excellent small boutique hotel.

Hotel was excellent - highly recommend. Great location, small boutique hotel, rooms beautiful and very clean, beds comfortable, pool lovely and the staff were excellent. Pererenan is quieter than other areas, more chill with very high quality restaurants and close to the beach. Breakfast was at the restaurant (Kilo Kitchen) where food was outstanding and the staff were absolutely wonderful. One of our group is Coeliac and they went out of their way to accommodate her gluten free diet (even baked her bread especially).

Boutique property in Canggu. Better in person than the images shown. This hotel is a wonderful oasis and perfect for travelers switching between restaurants/cafes/beach clubs and downtime at their accommodation. Property is very close to the beach. Recommend for those travelling with children.

The rooms were beautiful and ours opened up right on to the pool. It was very quiet and felt like we had a whole private oasis to ourselves! The Açai bowl from the restaurant was amazing and the staff were so lovely! We will definitely be back!
