If I have to say something, the gym could have some more equipment, like a a cable machine and some heavier weights. Other than that I have nothing negative to say.

Had an amazing stay at Maua. Probably the best hotel, with the best views, I’ve ever been at. The pictures online doesn’t do this place justice. Looks so much better in real life. Got an upgrade to a Pool villa, and it was the most beautiful hotel room, I’ve ever stayed in. If you ever stay here, get the room with the private pool! Its worth it. Staff was great, got a really good massage at the spa, great food at the restaurant. 10/10 can’t recommend enough if you’re ever visiting Nusa Penida

I didn't like that i wasn't allowed to smoke by my pool at my private villa, the only place on site to have a cigarette is at the main pool bar.

I loved the privacy within the Villa, my private pool and main pool was Beautiful offering spectacular views to Bali.

It is a bit noisy at night but at the same time is magical since we are in nature.

This hotel was in the middle of nowehere and yet the service was a real 5* hotel. Food was delicious and juices. The private villa had a swimming pool and we had our breakfast there. It was magical to celebrate our Honeymoon. They have received us with a cake and a ornament in bed. It was excellent.

I have not read this a lot, but for us it was a little bit annoying that the staff was inexperienced and did not have enough overseight to fulfill a 5 star standard. Empty Plates have been left on tables quite often, straws were missing, bread was forgotten before dinner and orders have only been taken on request. At the pool, one always had to run to the bar to request something. In general, not a big deal, but in view of the fact that at any time there were 3-5 employees standing around and chatting with each other, it was very unnecessary. From our point of view, the hotel needs a supervisor or guest manager with international experience. The credit card system has to be changed as well, the hotel does not work with a blockage system, so you would have to charge in advance with currency rate losses and receive possible overcharge back after 2 weeks.

Very Nice and well thought property. We received an upgrade to a Pool Villa, thus I can only review based on this room. The panorama from the restaurant and pool was amazing and the food was good and on level with other 4-5 star hotels that we have visited throughout our trip around Bali. With regards to trips, transport and rentals the staff was really helpful and our driver Kadek was amazing and extremely cooperative.

It’s far from the beaches.

Everything is nearly perfect. My room with a balcony has good hill views. The facilities are well setup including a gym, a public swimming pool and spa rooms. Food here is awesome.

This property left us absolutely speechless. One of the most beautiful resort we ever discovered. The property it’s stunning … a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean and the island. The room were spacious , clean and extremely confortable. You had everything you need . Peaceful and relaxing . The restaurant was incredible and the food over the top . We loved it . Sunsets and drinks were a perfect combo . We also Tried the SPA and it’s been wonderful. They also organised everything for us from the ticket boat to the island to the trip around Nusa Penida . Thank you to Agus which Made our Tours even more unforgettable . Thank you to all the staff at MAUA for their beautiful service and amazing smiles . Try to believe it .

The gym aircon was ineffective and the room gets direct sun in the morning. The restaurant a la carte was decent but I’d probably suggest to pass on the buffet options as they were never as good.
