MAUA completed exceeded our expectations. The location, the rooms, the staff & food were excellent. It is located at such a serene location.

First, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They were always making sure we were happy. The food is amazing with plenty of options to all tastes and has a breathtaking view of Gamat Bay and Nusa Lembongan. Our villa had a private pool also overlooking Gamat Bay and had a clean but cozy decoration. We look forward to going back to Maua and highly recommend the place for a romantic getaway.

Very isolated so require transport to go anywhere. Restricted to rely on resort for all meals and drinks. Luckily the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly but were not quick to offer assistance we had to ask for service especially around the pool area.

it’s built on a hill so be prepared to walk up hill to the restaurant. The breakfast was great but the lunch and dinners were not up to a 5 star quality

the quality of food is varying a lot, breakfast is great but dinner options lack and does not live up to the high price they are charging. they take a heafty markup on transport from the harbour to the hotel and the snorkelling trip they offer is simply them booking a trip which would take you 20 mins but they charge you with at least a 40% markup on the price.

There was still some construction work going on and random bits of noise at times. Some of the food dishes and cocktails need a little bit of work compared to the other resorts we stayed in but everything was presented beautifully.

This relatively new hotel was really stunning with beautiful views. We loved our villa with private pool - as well as the lovely big pool by the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also had an amazing massage at the spa. Enjoyed the treats left with turndown service every night! I'd def stay again.

Unbelievable breathtaking views from the mountain to the green landscape and even sunset. staff were friendly and helpful. The smaller size of the hotel made for a very intimate feel. Also very nice spa experiences and massages.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We felt the kindness and welcoming attitude and open communication of the staff from before we arrived right throughout our stay. We loved the secluded location and the landscape merging with the hillside and the gardens, to the rooms and furnishings. Everything was impeccably clean. The thoughtfulness in room amenities and sustainability. The meals and drinks on site were all amazing.

- Transfer to the pier/harbor with the hotel cars was twice the price of a local Taxi, it should be made more affordable, specially if you consider that the hotel is secluded and pricey already, you should consider making it more affordable. Besides this nothing, that we could not stay for longer

- Beautiful Villa, tastefuly decorated, very well built to make it completely private both the room and the garden. - Great and attentive staff - The restaurant, main pool and reception area are very pleaseant with a great view - Food was good, also prices were high but not abusive for a luxury resort as such

There is nothing we didn’t like!

Maua was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The Restaurant was amazing, the included breakfast outstanding. Our Room was very clean and has a special architecture. Also the Staff were super friendly. I would definitely come again to Maua and can highly recommend it!
