Perfect beach hotel with a tremendous breakfast

It’s difficult to find much fault but if there were 2 small frustrations, they would be the number of Sun loungers by the pool and the pestering street sellers along the front, just past the hotel (although I realise that the hotel can’t be responsible for this).

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and fabulous breakfast. We loved the location right on the beach front.

The rooms were beautiful and the nest style balcony was pretty amazing, just loved it there. Staff were wounderful always willing to help.

I guess expectations were high. However, housekeeping slipped up almost every day, inconsistent with supplying towels, face cloths and often replenish used toiletries. Also, the fabric bed head was quite stained. We loved the hotel and all its offerings that we didn't let it worry us.

Beautiful hotel. The gardens and decor is outstanding. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The Spa was quiet and stunning, highly recommend. Would go back without hesitation.

There was nothing not to like about this property.

An absolutely exceptional place!! Ideal location on the beach and right next to all the amenities. Cafes, bars and entertainment, shopping, massages, and more! Staff were so friendly and happy, we were always met with a smile and greeting and I loved the personalised service. One morning we left early to head out for the day and therefore missed buffet breakfast and the staff spoke to us the next day. They had remembered about our plans and were keen to hear about it our day. That is superb customer service. Afternoon tea offered at 4-5pm daily was lovely. On site security . Rooms were large and spacious with fresh fruit daily and turn down service. They were always clean, with beautiful views from every room. It was just such a lovely place to stay. I can’t speak more highly of it. The only down side was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will 100% be returning to Maya Sanur.

Weather! Location near a shopping street but on the beach. Room spacious and comfortable after some initial problems (lights not working but quickly fixed as were any other problems in the room). Good sports coverage on TV (Wimbledon, AFL). Happy hour, arvo tea, bikes, kids club.

We stayed twice during our 10 day trip to Bali. Our first room was perfectly clean, however on our second stay our room had ALOT of mould in the shower, around the mini bar was discoloured and panels falling off around the skirting, the room smelt musty and we had no top sheet on our bed, and also no special touches like the macaroons we received in the first room. The special touches were missing on our second start which didn’t feel like the 5 star experience we paid for and received in our first room on our first stay.

The kids club, which is amazing closing at 4.15 pm, toilets are dirty, the beach is dirty (they are cleaning the beach but not collecting rubbish from the water), water in the pool is too cold for kids.

See view from the restaurant, happy hour on every alcohol drink, room is very modern, kids club starting at the breakfast, beautiful walk on the beach, walking distance to other 5 star hotels, japanese restaurant is very tasty and cheap, free afternoon tea.

- cleaning service sometimes forgot to give us enough towels and refill minor things like tissues (they fixed it Immediately though after a quick call)

- very beautiful resort, i loved the room, the decor the pool and the overall architecture - staff were super friendly and always had a smile on their face :) the staff who prepared our floating breakfast in the pool was lovely - the location ; Sanur city was walkable and the Harbour was only 20mins away (Great for Trips to Nusa Penida) -greetings to the wonderful Staffs at the Spa, the Spa Package was outstanding (Special thanks to Luhde, Intan, Eka & Dayu)

The water temp is freezing in the lagoon rooms. There is no sun on that side of the hotel. The main pool is not heated and has limited daybeds and only one side gets any sun.

The beachfront location was beautiful. The breakfast was great quality and choices were amazingly delicious. We enjoyed happy hour out of our 4-night stay. We booked the lagoon swim out room. We stayed in Rm117 which was private and away from the walkways of other rooms. Our butlers Angga and Panji were so helpful with us.
