We stayed at the Maya for a total of 5 nights in a pool villa room. The experience at the Maya Was exceptional. From the food, the staff, the experiences (we did a Villa Grill and used the spa 120 minute couples package). The location of the hotel is in the heart of the jungle in Ubud and the nature surrounding the hotel was breathtaking. They offer a lot of complimentary services - yoga / rice paddy walking tour/ forest trail hiking and free afternoon tea. All the services were incredible. The room was extremely clean, the pool was maintained daily and they fogg for mosquitoes, which there was no issue at all with! The breakfast buffet was super delicious and the lunch and dinner menus were amazing ! All the food and drinks were of extremely high standard. And finally. The staff at the Maya From the front office, the gardeners, the chefs and the waiting staff were always so helpful, full of smiles making you feel like home. Maya was one of the best hotels I have ever visited and would not hesitate to return !! 100/10 recommend for anyone visiting Ubud or Bali In general
