The location was perfect, close to the main area. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. Good laundry and spa nearby.

Excellent experience. The atmosphere is very peaceful, ideal for a solo traveler looking to relax. The staff was very respectful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect, just a few steps from the main street, making it easy to explore the area. Without a doubt, I will stay here again on my next visit to Lombok. Highly recommended!

terrible noise from reconstruction every day from 7 do 19. I came here to work, relax and sleep and I was not able to do any of that. I had to go to work to a rented office since my work is noise sensitive and that was extra cost for me. Dear owner of hotel or whomever responsible for this: you are a such mean person!! When you have reconstruction, you do not rent rooms! It is not fair. This means that you used my money, energy and time for your business. In my country police would come and give you a huge penalty for this. Shame on you!!!!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the room. The private room looked good but did not feel clean and had a strange moldy smell to it. The shower was quite dirty and we asked to change the bedsheets because they did not smell nice. If you don’t mind this and are looking for a cheap place to stay which is centrally located, I would say stay here. If you value more cleanliness, this may not be the place for you.

The location of this hostel is great, being super close to the main road and everything. The people there are nice and up for a chat. They offer complimentary water and coffee and tea which you can grab during all times, which is great.

The staff is really friendly and helped me when I had some problems with my internet signal on my phone. The breakfast is delicious and you can choose between omelette or scrambled eggs with toast or banana pancake. You have free access to water, coffee and tea. You can rent cheap scooters there and cheap transfer to Bali, Gili… Every bed has an additional ventilator and a cute bed lamp.

I think this is a rare situation but with the bike rental I was charged more than others at the hostel and was told it is only available while you stay at the hostel, everyone else who stayed at the hostel I spoke to had a cheaper price and when they moved to another hostel they could carry on renting a bike from them. Maybe they just didn’t like me but wasn’t a nice feeling and a shame. Toilets didn’t flush properly either

Amazing staff, good breakfast everyday, drinking water available, coffee all day, rent a scooter right with the owner, location is very convenient, clean, comfortable beds with curtains, good wifi. I booked for 3 nights and stayed for a month. Bruno the owner is the nicest person ever and will help you with anything.

We had such a fantastic stay at Mellow! Bruno and his family are lovely, and the property is great. It’s located in a quiet little spot right in the middle of town, perfect location. The rooms are clean and facilities have everything you need for your stay. Bruno’s breakfast every morning is wonderful and he’ll help you with booking local transport or things to do. I’d highly reccomend staying here!

It was a bit difficult to find, since it's a bit hidden in a side alley and the sign is easy to overlook. The dorms were ok but the bed linen was very smelly and stained, not sure if it was changed before I arrived to be honest. I've traveled in Indonesia extensively so I'm used to a lot, but this bathroom was disgusting. Hasn't been cleaned in months with loads of mold, the toilets didn't flush at all and it smelled horrible. The owner didn't even ask for my name let alone passport when I arrived, so anyone could've just walked in at any time, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Also there were no locks at the doors whatsoever and it was open 24/7. I stayed in the top bunk which had a window that couldn't be covered, so not only was it very bright once the sun rose, but also anyone could watch me sleep from outside which was super creepy. Wouldn't recommend.

The shared room it’s ok. I also was in the private room and it’s very comfy, but it doesn’t have hot water (the common shower does). The atmosphere is cool, it was easy to meet people as a solo traveler. Well located and good wifi!

Bruno was a great help- he organised bikes for us, cheap travel to the gili islands and any of the other tours we did. Cannot recommend this hostel enough if you’re on a budget/ a couple looking for somewhere in a great location and looking to do day trips with good food that’s close

Floor of showers is a little slimy

Small hostel that blends into the town, tucked away slightly inside of the main street. No annoying music playing, no drinks being sold at the hostel. Affordable and simple and relaxing. Bunk bed structure is made of concrete do it doesn't make creaking noises. Just use mosquito spray or cream at night or keep the fan on in your bunk.

Vibe at the Hostel is very relaxed, quiet off the main road but in excellent location. Lots of nice people and great breakfast here too! Will definitely come back, thank you very much!!

animals are slaughtered in front of the door. Roosters crow in the morning before they are slaughtered -> therefore did not have a good night's sleep. No AC!
