My room was right outside the evening dinning and entertainment area. Would have been nice to be informed of this when I checked in. The resort did not provide secure Wifi, only unsecured public access. I found this poor for a resort such as the Mecure.

I had some ants in the room but still normal and room is clean.

The quiet surrounding, cleanliness, friendly staff. We had the deluxe room which was cozy and spacious. The pool has a good size to do reasonable laps and playing. A plus: there’s a lovely yoga studio 5min walk from the hotel (beach side). I loved it.

Breakfast was ok, but had much better in Bali. Also the food was split into 2 sections far apart from each other. Some real bacon would have been great. The rooms really need some renovating. Look very old and worn. Other than that, I loved it.

The downside is the bed and the AC in the room. It needs updating, so why it does not take to the top.

I love Sanur beach because I can see the sunrise and sunset at the same beach 🌞 Mercure hotel has wonderful tropical vibe and great breakfast 🥞 I love the area and hotel is quite located, but you can easily walk to other cafes and shops 😊 It also has a nice spa ✨

Our bathroom had sewage smell which is biggest turn off. shower area was very slippery to the point we asked for anti-slip matts Shower head was not good

On Booking.com it listed there was a kids club, which there is not*, and the yoga shala is a on the property but costs extra. You’re definitely paying for the location and western comforts in the rooms (although I still found them lacking, it’s quite a small room even for a Deluxe king, and we were given a room up 3 flights of stairs…even after booking with a 5y/o child…) & even after paying more for the hotel, it just felt like everything else was an extra cost.

It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very kind and accomodating.
