Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceI already mentioned the beautiful view, it’s a fact, you are in the middle of nature, with all the benefits and… inconvenient. You should be careful regarding the room you select, mine had a kind of ‘ open ventilation ‘ for the bathroom, that mean, some unwelcome visitors can enter. It was not a problem so far. But, in the last night, a very huge spider was in the bathroom just for the night and left in the morning. I’m not an expert but I think it was a ‘ huntsman spider ‘ just google it, you will understand… it’s not an harmful spider for humans, but very impressive, and I can guarantee you, that just it’s presence would make you think twice before entering. That the only thing that I did not much appreciate during my stay ! But once again, you are in the nature, so you might expect such visitors. Do not worry, not all rooms are like that I guess, just see with the staff they will help you ! It’s worth to stay there !
Friendly owners and workers, good breakfast, clean room bed/ towels, they ask you everyday if they can clean, and that’s nice ! Also there is a wonderful view and nice pool ! Close to some touristic place such as temples, and some delicious and well located warungs ( provided that you have a scooter ) the guest house provide such service and others !

AustraliaWhilst the gardens are wonderful, there is a pond directly outside with frogs that make noise all night. Also there is a rooster that crows all day and night!
We chose this property because it had air con and because of it's proximity to the Elephant Park. The rooms and service is great. The gardens and surrounds are absolutely beautiful. The massage facilities were great and there are grab drivers in the area to get around.

Czech RepublicWe missed a fridge in our room but mostly because we are traveling with a child that requires to eat in a different times. We also didnt enjoy that much the location that was in a village without any restaurants closed by - but this also because of the child (we had to travel by taxi for food or order gojek).
It is very beautiful accommodation with garden and view of a forest. Our room was very nice and clean. They offer breakfast but also a lunch or dinner (limited offer).

United KingdomNothing! We had seen some negative reviews about cleanliness, but we were pleasantly surprised by our room. The guest house is located in the jungle, so you should expect some bugs here and there.
This place was incredibly beautiful! What a great stay! We were pleasantly surprised by every part of it. The staff were helpful and thoughtful, and the views were amazing. It's a lovely, calm stay, close enough to different sightseeing spots.

GermanyThe pool is colder than expected, but it's a nice refreshment. We had the smallest bungalow with only 15 qm, which was quiet tiny for 2 adults and 1 baby. But we got the option then to move to the bigger one the next day. They are really beautiful and have enough space.
Such a quiet and beautiful place with very nice and kind staff! Just amazing! Jungle view at the terace for breakfast, very delicious dinner and different breakfast options, laundry service, help with any recommendations or needs such as private driver. Room service and water every day. 30 min to ubud, 5 min to tengalalang,10 min to tirta empul tempel.

SingaporeThere isn't much to do beyond the Guest house at night as it is in a remote area.
I like that the villa has a fantastic view of the jungle. I enjoyed the sunrise view which is something money can't buy. The villa is new and a lot of effort has been put to ensure that comfort for the guests is top priority. The staff is very helpful and very friendly.

TurkeyWe wanted to go to the mountain Batur for trekking and the price they offered was higher than what we found. The bike rental price was the same but if you want to go to a tour, you may want to check Ubud central with other tour agencies.
The hotel is built with a fantastic taste. It gave us both the comfort and the authenticity of Bali. The staff was super nice and helpful. It has an amazing terrace where we had breakfast every day with a forest view. Since it is Bali we are talking about, some bugs and insects can be seen normally but it is not because of the hotel but the nature of the island. The staff is also sensitive and helpful in case of a situation like this.

RussiaFogs in a pond right near the house no. 2 sometimes were too loud especially in the evening. The smell of oil they use to cook not so good and you feel it in a lobby and nearby. So, house no. 2 (closed to lobby and a pond) is not the optimal choice.
Fantastic green territory, very kind and supportive staff. The territory feels like jungles. English breakfast is the best choice.
