It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but there was some construction going on (which looks like their almost near the end). But overall it didn’t bother us to much! Everything else made up for it. And we wish we could stay longer!

It was secluded in the mountains, which felt like a breakaway! The views were AMAZING! We didn’t have one bad meal, compliments to the chef! And the staff was exceptional, they truly wanted us to have the best time possible. Munduk is definitely one of a kind in Bali.

Nothing - honestly perfect. I would say for future guests I’d recommend bringing a jumper as it gets a little colder in the evenings but they do provide blankets which were perfect and fires in the evening ☺️

Honestly, there’s very little to criticize. If anything, due to its remote location, getting there can take some time, but that’s also part of the charm. The tranquility and natural beauty far outweigh any minor inconvenience.

Munduk Moding Plantation is an absolute gem. The views from both pools and the terrace are breathtaking, overlooking the jungle, the distant sea, and the resort’s coffee plantation. The serene, remote setting makes it a perfect escape into nature. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and sincere in making me feel special. What amazed me the most was that, after five years, they still remembered me and recognized my face—something I’ve never experienced before. The level of hospitality here is beyond exceptional.

Some of the staff (especially the guest managers or how they were called) were too pushy for my taste. That is the only thing I would change.

The whole resort is just wow!!! Rooms, restaurant, most of the staff, amenities, pools and jacuzzi... Your head is spinning from all of that.

Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort is a beautiful place in a beautiful location. 2 long infinity pools, great large jacuzzi, view is amazing, sunset is just there in the end of the infinity pool, great choices of food in 2 restaurants, very pleasant staff. A lot of activities are offered in the place, quite a few are complementary. Their recycle / reuse program is very impressive.

Most amazing cool weather location in Bali. A relief from the heat with beautiful gardens and winding pathways and incredible infinity pools. Each accommodation very private. The views never seized to amaze.

There are no words to describe the excellent service from each and every person working in the hotel. We felt so welcomed. Every single thing here is made with love and care. This was the best hotel-holiday we ever experienced.

Note; this place is definitely a 10/10, so these are only 2 very minor things: At restaurant on the outside table there were quite a few ants from the plants that would come onto the table. Could be fixed by just eating at any of the tables inside. Aircon unit in room worked, but wasn't the best Aircon I've experienced (took a very long time to get to the temperature I wanted)

This place is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It excels in all areas. 10/10. Perhaps even 11/10. Everything is well thought and excellent quality.

Swimming pool definitely one of the best in Bali, not big, but you will have different experiences when you swim there. They got lot of activities and facilities also. The food also good with reasonable price considering you will have to dine in during your stay (the location quite far from every where)

Great hotel in the magical Munduk. I will fondly remember the beautiful views, the excellent massage, and the bath with salt and candles in my room. I will definitely return!

This resort exceeded all expectations! The views were absolutely stunning, and the hotel was spotless. The staff are so nice. Our room was amazing! luxurious bathroom and great in-room facilities. The heated jacuzzis and pools were perfect, especially during the rainy season. The restaurant was really good since you have to eat there all evenings. Highly recommend!

The future is not user friendly, awkward, sofas plentiful yet soft and uncomfortable. The bathroom floors are finished with polished stone tiles: slippery and dangerous when wet.

We enjoyed the mountaintop location and views. And all staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive .

Not suitable for mobility issues, very steep site, can be slippery... But you could probably call the buggy everytime if you needed. We wanted to buy a la carte breakfast but it seemed very hard /impossible. So we had to pay for all you can eat when we only had one dish.

Step into another world away from the chaos of southern Bali. Everything was perfect, we didn't leave the resort for several days, enjoying the resorts daily activities, exceptional coffee (of course) and the genuine Bali hospitality of old. Loved the bath, the jacuzzi, the bed, all the little extras like turn down service. So nice to be somewhere cooler than the beach, no air conditioning and wasn't needed.

Everything was just perfect.

This hotel is absolutely perfect! It is suited in a beautiful natural nature, the rooms are gorgeous and very spacious, pool area is also very beautiful. Other than that, this hotel does a lot for sustainability so that was a big plus for us. The sustainability tour was amazing! It is very quiet, calm and perfect for a slow relaxed holiday.
