I recently had the pleasure of spending my honeymoon at the breathtaking Munduk Monding, nestled in the mountains of Bali. From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were blown away by the exceptional service we received. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of magical. One of the standout features of this resort was the stunning landscape that greeted us every morning from our room. The panoramic views of the mountains were awe-inspiring. The resort had clearly been designed with the utmost care, seamlessly blending in with its surroundings. The integrated experience we had was unlike any other. The resort offered a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity. We were able to indulge in world-class amenities while immersing ourselves in the local culture. Whether it was through the delicious traditional cuisine or local coffee tastings, every aspect of our stay felt deeply rooted in Bali's vibrant heritage. Not a single negative!

One of the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed in. The location and facilities were beyond our wildest dreams. We weren’t aware prior to arrival that they also offer activities and workshops which we were delighted to find out on arrival and did a sambal workshop. The staff were so extremely friendly and made us feel most welcome with a special shout out to Sayu and Dipa who never failed to put smiles on our faces and made us feel like we were at home.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay at Istana Nagara, a stunning villa with breathtaking views. One of the highlights was having a personal assistant named Adi, who went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, demonstrating remarkable helpfulness and respectfulness. Picking and dropping us everywhere, arranging the classes, ordering and brining food and handling and enquiry. In fact, all the staff members were incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We had the opportunity to participate in a refreshing and informative healthy drinks class with Trisna, where she shared valuable insights about the various nutritious beverages available at the facility. Moreover, we treated ourselves to the most serene and relaxing massages provided by the skilled professionals, Wati and Sari.both are lovely, friendly and professional. The villa itself is a masterpiece. Comfortable beds and couches. Warmed private pool and a jacuzzi with a stunning view. It has a coffee machine and oven and a microwave. All is included. The resort has a variety of classes inside including yoga, cooking and traditional culture. Even a coffee plantation and tasting experience and they sell coffee in it cheaper than local shops. All in all they know how to give a five star services. Breakfast is remarkably delicious. The staff and the property are all available on WhatsApp.

Perfect resort for relaxing. Great staff. We chose to upgrade our room to a private pool villa. Which was exceptional. Our assigned buttler ( putra and hikikomori)did everything to make our stay even more perfect .

The WiFi was OK but not that strong. The western dishes at the main restaurant were a little average, but the Balinese specialities were very good.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The 2 infinity pools were simply spectacular - the best I’ve ever seen. The outdoor jacuzzi was lovely. The views all around were wonderful. 10 pieces of complimentary laundry was really welcome.

the view of the swimming pool is stunning. The villa we lived is located well and got beautiful view as well. All staff are well trained and offered great service. Especially Roni,he drives us to the waterfall and the hotel in Ubud. it’s a happy journey with his service. thanks.

Beautiful location and such an interesting venue with coffee plantation, re cycling projects, environmentally conscious. All the staff were incredible, so friendly, helpful and kind. They couldn't do enough for us. The Garden Suite was gorgeous, beautiful views, very private and very clean. Two super infinity pools and a Jacuzzi in which you can watch the sunset with a cocktail! It was chilly in the evenings so the staff lit fires around the communal area and even provided marshmallows to toast! We were even given little gifts on check out. Absolutely superb!

Everything was great, we can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at MMP from start to finish. The hotel is super well thought out and beautifully built to highest standards. The grounds are amazing (do the coffee tour and activities!) and the vegetation is almost like a botanical garden. It smells very nice everywhere thanks to the incense and the ginger tea with sugar is delectable. The food in the restaurants is awesome. The lower bar is a real treat after dinner and the bartender is super fun to chat with. get the Arak Sour! What really sets MMP apart is the staff. everybody goes out of their way to make your stay better. Special shoutout especially to the general manager Ms. Riska, and the pool engineer Mr. Wirata. I had lost my prescription eye glasses in the pool drain and they went through a lot of effort to retrieve them from the bottom of a dark tank after disassembling the heat pump! Terima kasih banyak, once again! We also very much appreciated the sustainability efforts to reuse plastic and cooking oil etc!

Nothing - everything was perfect.

We couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comforting and relaxing (special shoutout to Sindi in the restaurant and Budi who took us on a day trip). We booked two private trips through reception, one to a nearby waterfall and another to cycle around the surrounding area - both were great. Munduk is a must visit to get an "authentic" slice of Bali life. We had a really relaxing massage in the spa. Dinner at the Balinese restaurant was some of the best local food we had all trip. The rooms and the infinity pools were incredible.

Truly nothing to complain about

Everything was so amazing! Step off the rat race and into a world of calm bliss. We couldn't fault the staff we have made friends during our stay. The facilities, the view, the spa are stunning. Defiantley want to return and with family next time. Highly recommend meeting the children for their English lesson the company provide free if they hand in plastic bottles. This place is so eco conscious. The staff cannot do enough to help provide you with a an unforgettable stay. If you need time to recharge this is the place for your next stay. They will even help provide you with tours to the beautiful places surrounding. Once place not to be missed.
