As our first stop in Bali, we had selected MSH because of the warm, friendly atmosphere and laid back vibe we had read about in the reviews - that is exactly what we got and more. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us, including my partners Mum (who wasn’t staying there, but was treated as a guest). They really made the place feel like home with some excellent recommendations of food places in the area, as well as ensuring we were taking full advantage of the facilities (picnic, massage, and breakfast all included). We had a couple of lazy mornings and they made us breakfast at any time we liked, which we really appreciated, plus the owner chatted with all guests in the mornings to create a really nice feel to the place. The accommodation itself is a very authentic beach Balinese home, with some gorgeous animals (turtle, dog, cat, fish) which you can feed and are super friendly. It is a minutes walk to the beach, where you are greeted by breathtaking sunsets and plenty of great bars and restaurants with live music in the evening. Everything was clean, there was a good selection of breakfast foods and you are able to help yourself to coffees and juices. We knew we would enjoy this place after reading the reviews, but our expectations were definitely exceeded. I did see a previous review to suggest the owners were pushy for good reviews, but this was absolutely NOT the case. It wasn’t mentioned once. A huge thank you to the lovely staff who looked after my boyfriend when he was feeling sick too. We hope to return very soon!

You can hear the voices of the next room. One night we don’t have hot water, they’re very quickly fixed ,also my friend staying at other hotel, they have same problem as us, so I think it’s normal in Bali.

Very friendly staff, great location, great breakfast ,cute cat and dog, Employees and owner pay attention to the customer needs at any time! When we staying this place, they have another new room start building, but It hasn’t effect on us.

A charming, small hotel, perfect for a peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful tropical nature. There’s a warm, family-like atmosphere and the hosts are attentive and kind. The swimming pool, nestled in lush greenery, is a great spot to relax at any time of day. It’s just a short walk to a beautiful beach lined with restaurants and bars, ideal for enjoying the famous sunset during low tide. Breakfasts are tasty and fresh. As is typical in this climate, some minor maintenance is occasionally needed, but it doesn’t take away from the overall very positive experience.

Everything is wonderful there is magic oasis!! The staff is super helpful e super nice. Delicious breakfast. Excellent WiFi. Comfy beds, A/C and fan, majestic bathroom it seem to be in the jungle and I loved it.

Beautiful, quiet and private location, and just a minutes walk to the beach. Our room, (India) was on 2 levels, comfortable bed upstairs and a day bed downstairs. Unique bathroom with a great shower. Swimming pool in a shaded tropical setting was very clean and refreshing after a day out in the heat. Wayan and his team were awesome, amazing breakfasts, fresh local fruits always available, and picnics provided. Nothing was too much for these guys, we felt very spoiled. Highly recommend My Secret Home.

Location was perfect on a private street very close to seminyak beach. The owner and staff were really lovely and so hospitable and attentive. The food was great as well and is great value for money. Greatly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying in this lovely property!

The welcome we received on arrival was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and explained everything about the property, facilities, etc. The kitchen was open to guests and filtered water was freely available. The room was gorgeous, and had an outdoor bath. The open plan living/dining area for guests was huge. Location was about 2 minutes walk from beach.

My Secret Home is a hidden gem. We stayed 9 nights and wanted to stay longer. We loved the simplicity of this place, relaxed atmosphere, the 'anything is possible' approach of the friendly staff, nice cold pool (rare in a tropical climate) and just a 2 minute walk to the beach and beach restaurants. Extremely accommodating staff. Nothing at all was a problem. They are a beautiful, friendly group who will do anything for you. Breakfast available all day, as much as you want. They will pack you a lovely lunch too, if you want one. Having 24hr access to the kitchen, coffee, iced water, cold fridges and food, was just the best! Daily massages by Evi. Wonderful! Massages are 30min. Her hour long massages are the best, so I recommend 1hr every second day. We have recommended My Secret Home to all our friends.

We had a great stay at My Secret Home, an oasis of calm in a busy resort. The room was spacious and the bathroom was quite beautiful. Our breakfast was very tasty and we had free tea and coffee available during our stay. There was some work being done on the courtyard when we arrived but this did not spoil our stay. We did not use the pool but walked a few minutes to the beach to enjoy the sea, sand and sunset.
