We stayed in the 1 bedroom bungalows (rooms 1&2), and found that they were quite dark inside - this is likely due to them being made of dark wood, but it made it a little bit challenging to see well, even during the day. I must confess I kept all the lights on for the duration of my stay. I think the rooms could do with a deep clean, although we’d been in Bali for almost two weeks, our stay here left us with the most insect bites. I initially thought it was just mosquitoes, but one afternoon I came into the room and saw some strange bugs on the mosquito netting. I informed the staff member on duty to check on it and they thought they might be bugs that fell from the roof. They immediately brought bug spray and cleaned my room, sadly I found more of the bugs later on in the day (and even the next morning). I really hope that they are able to resolve these issues in the bungalows as it’s a property with great potential and amazing staff and such a well located property.

The property is in an amazing location with so many things nearby. We were within walking distance of both Hidden Beach and Mushroom and there were so many restaurants for us to choose from on a daily basis, we were actually spoilt for options because everything looked great. The staff at the property were incredibly helpful and kind, they were very forthcoming with information about tours and activities for us to do during our stay. We really enjoyed the breakfast, I personally enjoyed the cheese omelet the most. There is also a small convenient store on the property, so it’s easy to stock up on snacks when you need. The pool, was a decent size and well maintained. The staff also had mosquito repellent at the reception desk which you could use if you were outside. The shower and bathroom are very spacious, just be aware that you will need to use stairs to access it if you stay in the 1 bed bungalows.

The only expectation we had was a bed to sleep on. However, there were some kind of small bedbugs which actually bite. We checked out early and had to book another place.

I loved the staff at Nanuk's Bungalow. Everybody there is just so helpful and nice. They made me love my stay there. The property is 3 minutes walk from Secret Beach and 10 minutes walk from Mushroom Beach. They have a good breakfast there, a small groceries store, massage and whatever else you need just ask the staff at the front desk and they will definitely help you!

Everything was perfect :) , we enjoyed our whole stay here. Our room was spacious, totally clean, well-equipped and designed. It was cleaned every day. Our bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere and the design of the whole accomodation is very nice and unique. There are 3 beaches in walking distance to the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful, they helped us in everything.

The staff at Nanuk's were the nicest people we met travelling, really helpful with anything we needed. The value for money was unbelievable. The location was perfect, really close to a hidden beach as well as mushroom bay. Really comfortable and clean room, and delicious breakfast. If I ever visit Nusa L again, I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

We had the most wonderful week at Nanuk’s. highly recommend!!! The pool is incredible, perfect for us with a kids section and then a deeper area also. Always somewhere slightly shaded which is great with kids as well. Comfy beds, so quiet at night. the staff treated us so beautifully, we had a 4yo, 2yo and a baby and they helped us so much, entertained the kids and let them follow them around “helping”. Occy helped us with booking a golf buggy and our return ferry home, helped with booking massages at their hotel (and set up a beautiful massage area for us) for after the kids were asleep, Nanuk rescued us when we our tyre popped, nothing was too much for them!!! We will definitely be back…..
